Meeting called to order - AC Hari called the 1st AEX of Area 2 for the tabling year 2013-14 to order with a toast to the President Republic of India.

Welcome Address - The AC welcomed the HT’s , All the Board Members present , The Secretary’s of Tables present and all the the Tabeler’s present at the meeting and invited National Secretary Suman to join the Head Table...

Confirmation of Previous Meeting Minutes - The Fourth AEX of the tabling year of 2012-13 was held on 30th June at Hotel Raddison Blu and the same was proposed by MSRT 159 and MMRT 3 . The same was communicated by mail and informed by Immediate Past AST and current AVC Tr.Shriram Duvvuri.

Matters Arising therefrom and not covered else where - The mention of Individual Secretary recognitions given by the Im Past AST Tr.Shriram of TY 2012-13 at the 34th AGM was missed to be minuted in the 34th Area 2 AGM minutes and hence is being minuted now.

Table 30 : Chairman Sanjay of MERT 30 came forward and quickly read through the wonderful 1st Qtr report prepared by their secy...A real busy 1st quarter with a lot more to look forward too.-Fellowships : 11 + 2 social dinners = 13 fellowshipsThe big one being the family outstation fellowship @ GOA. A rocking time.-Projects :  13 projects. Our school and tuition center children benefited from these projects. Also a community service done towards a project called "Punnagi" which is an annual day for handicapped children to show their talent in all activities. An amt of Rs.30000 was donated by MERT 30.-GO GREEN : distributing 800 Go Green boxes and creating huge publicity for RTI.-Funds Raised : Rs.43,25,000. A really PROUD moment for MERT 30. More to follow.-AAGM : Winning the "Balance activity award" along with 12 other big awards has been a great achievment for MERT 30! Table 39 : Chairman Inder Singh gave us an insight about how his Table is Doing More from the presentation played on screen and the the gist of the Qtr in which they definitely did More is...- International Fellowship and a theme based Business meeting in Hong Kong with the President of Hong Kong Round Table and tablers of HK RT 10. - One of it's kind Fellowship - Mr & Mrs 39.- Mega Blood Donation Camp at Ascendas and Cybervale IT Park.- MSRT 39 bagged the 1st place in the Area 2 AGM Ad zap Competition.- 3 Table Joint meeting with MSRT 159 and MKRT 181.

Table 42 : Chairman Mahesh in spite of having their event Cock A Table Do at the same time made sure he was present at the meeting and present their Qtr report to the floor high lighting majorly the publicity generated through their Auto Rickshaw Challenge which has been their on going event every year through which they raise funds where they have a lot of foreigners who com and take part in it... Table 94 - Chairman Krishna our sergeant for the day came forward and ran through quickly the presentation and spoke about their plans of Dawn to Dusk and their work towards raising funds for their long term project SANJEEVI. Chairman also announced the date Feb 8th and 9th of their upcoming event called Master Chef. He also said that they may have a Track event in the month of Dec... Table 95 : Chairman Sachin came forward and did the presentation of their 1st Qtr report and spoke about the various fellowships they have been having. They had a total tally of 32 in the Qtr. Table 159 : Chairman Tejas Mehta came forward and told that Spice Sutra the 34th Area AGM was their main agenda the first Qtr as it was the last leg towards the event. He said that the fellowships were just happening when ever they met up relating to SS... After Chairman Tejas finished his presentation AC Hari thanked Table 159 and him for a brilliant AGM they gave us through ‘Spice Sutra’ and the floor acknowledged them by clapping. Area Convener’s Time

LAPD - Convener Varindar Singh of MERT 30 said that most of the tables in Area 2 have been having some kind of LAPD activities or the other... He said some of the Tables had some real unique ones too... He spoke about the PTBAT done for the new Tabler’s with the help of National LAPD convener Brijesh Dalmia. He suggested that the AEX should have one couples module done...

Projects : Projects & Community Service Convener Kavalpreet Singh of MKRT 181 presented his report as below... He also suggested to the floor that the Tables which have Projects and no money to further

Inter Table : Area Inter Table Convener Kaushal Shah of MMRT 3 told the floor that the Qtr which passed by was brilliant starting with Booze and Brains by Table 123, then the 3 Table Dandia Night by Tables 39,159 and 181. He also told the floor that Cock A Table Do was Cric O Mania by MKRT 181 was likely to happen on the 1st of Dec, The Winter Fashion Show by MCRT 162 was slated for 6th of Dec and also told the floor that the MTM was slated to happen on the 15th of Nov.

Fellowship : Area Fellowship convener Narendar Shah of MSRT 159 said that Area 2 is Doing More and Truly Rocking start to the year, the first quarter truly showcased the DO MORE Theme of Area 2. Fellowships galore, with a whopping 94 fellowships in the first quarter. Few of the highlights of the fellowships below would give you insite DO MORE themeA international fellowship by 39, goa trip by 30, cycling fellowship by 123, fellowship on naval ship by 94.

Other than the fellowships, Area 2 also had amazing inter table fellowships at an 6 table event called as 6 ka Dum and the amazing booze n brains by 123.

As the fellowship convener , we have introduced tried out couple of concepts to increase the bonding between the tablers. These are listed below

a) Area 2 DO More Complete logo pin collection.

The idea was to ensure maximum inter table participation or joint fellowships by the tablers so they get the chance to exchange the pins. There is also an award for first 5 people who can collect all pins of 18 tables of Area2 and recreate the Area 2 logo

b) Fellowship Tshirts

We decided to give away the best fellowship for a Tr from

every table with consultation of the respective chairman to

appreciate the effort of the tablers who have ensured

amazing fellowships within their tables and bonding for every quarter. The winners

of the quarter are

C) Group booking @ fund raiser

We also initiated to book bulk tickets for all our fund raisers, which will enable all tablers to seat in block reserved for Area 2. It was started in LC 100 fund raiser last week. Our truly after performing well at the AGM, also proved that he is the best sucker in Area 2 ;-)

Information Technology : Area IT convener Sandy explained to the floor that MOMO is fully up and running. He told that there were few hick ups initially becasue of change of vendor and also because of some merging of data of previous years. He also said That Eventjini is doing the web ticketing for Farhan Akthar’s show which is going to happen on the 14th of Dec and he said that every table with a group booking Eventjini will donate 5% of the ticket cost to the concerned Table to their Projects Account.

Supply House & GC : Area Supply House and GC convener Vishal Goel was absent and hence nothing to report..

Rules : Area Rules convener Ananth Marathia was absent and hence nothing to report.

Go Green : Area Go Green Convener Hemant Khandelwal was present but no reporting was done.

Immediate Past Chairmans Time : IPC Gitesh Agarwal Congratulated the board on the news of Area 2 becoming the first Area in India to become a GLMF.He also appealed to the fllor that we should help Area 4 which was struck by rain calamity... He also passed on to the floor a cheque worth Rs.100,000 raised through a sale of FreedomThrough Education pin to square leg Vagish Dixit. He requested the same should be deposited in to the Admin Account of the Area and requested AC Hari to use it righteously towards the upcoming RTI week by distributing Rs.5000/- per Table as a contribution to all tables of Area 2 towards each of their own RTI Week activity ...

Area Chairman’s Report Area Chairman Hari first of all thanked to have made it for the AEX and siad that it has been a great feeling so far seeing every one DOING MORE... He shared his experience he had in NEX which just happened and said that our Area is really doing stuff which defines our uniqueness and class. He said we have been excelling in fund raising and inter-table activities. He said that our Area CC Editor Akshay Dugar was highly praised at the National level for his phenomenal month on month Area News letters “ Doing More News Letters “ . The floor present that day on AC Hari’s point gave AKD a standing ovation. Chairman Hari also recognised the efforts of the AST. He told the floor that the Inter Table exchange program should be followed by all the Tables because it will facilitate a lot of fellowship. Any Other matter :1. Chairman Rajiv Shah shared his views about the ask of Rs.10,000 towards individual table contribution towards MTM and was clarified by AC on the same.2. Chairman Mahesh from 42 addressed the floor about the 35th Area 2 AGM which they came forward to host in the year 2014, he said that they were not totally

ready with the plan but they intend to propose some major changes in the format of the Area AGM and will mostly do it by the next AEX. The floor had some point of views to share with him to take away for their Table to work on the same. Chairman Mahesh also said that 42 is willing to partner with an other Table as Hosts of the 35th AGM and hence asked Tables to get back to them on this.

3. AC Hari also suggested that all Tables should work on becoming 100% LMF and said that their Sq Leg has yet again contributed Rs. 2 lakhs towards LMF and hence to become an LMF an individual would need to a pay only a subsidised amount.

4. Area Inter Table Convener Kaushal Shah was made to cut a cake for it was his birthday and the floor sang the b’day song for him and obviously he was given a cake facial :-) ...

5. Tr. Suman Voora of Tab 42 as a floor Tabler of Area 2 along with Table 42 Chairman Mahesh requested full support of Area 2 tables towards his candidature for NVP post 14-15 in the upcoming elections.

Sergeant at Arms : Chairman Krishna of MCRT 94 who was the sergeant of the day tripped on all who were late for the meeting and also on some tablers who are all time favorites and collected totally Rs.3500.

Date & Venue of Next AEX meeting : It was told that we will get back on mail about this but told the floor that it will be mostly in the month of Jan 2014.

Closure : Area Chairman Hari closed the 1st AEX meeting with a toast to Round Table India and Round Table International....
