Spring is on the way! Easter is early this year! The Easter season is always a good time to

invite friends and family to join us for our worship services.

-Palm Sunday, March 25

-Maundy Thursday Services and observance of the Lord’s Supper, March 29 -Easter Egg Hunt, March 24 at 10:00 a.m.

-Easter Sunday, April 1

Our church has been very supportive of the mission trip to Haiti that my wife is participat-

ing in. The trip will be March 26 through April 2nd. Join us as we pray for the team making

this trip: Carole, Joanie, Michell, Michelle, Becky, Allysa, Kevin, Payton, Tim, Campbell, Aa-

ron and Scott. They will be working with teachers, holding a Back Your Bible Club and building a house.

If you would like to order an

Easter lily in memory of a loved

one or in honor of someone AND

help decorate our sanctuary for

Easter, please sign up on the bul-

letin board next to the church

office. The cost is $13.00 per lily. Please sign up by Sunday, March 18th and place

the money in an envelope clearly marked “Easter

lily” and place in the offering plate or the box

next to the office.

Mark your Calendars!! Beginning Wednesday evening April 4th, we will start a new six week Bible Study which will be led by Pastor Dave. Dinner will be served each week pri-

It’s time to start planning

for Vacation Bible School

2018! The first VBS meet-

ing is scheduled for March

4th at 6:00 p.m. and will be

held at the church. This

meeting is open for anyone interested in help-

ing or volunteering in VBS and is highly en-

couraged that you attend. Lots of information

will be discussed and we want you to be in-

formed. There will be lots of changes this year

including a one day VBS. We hope to see you

all there!

Saturday, March 24th at 10:00 a.m.

We will need lots of donations of individually

wrapped candy. Please drop off donations by

Sunday, March 18th so we have enough time

to fill all the Easter eggs. We do not need

plastic eggs, only candy.

Bring the kids, grandkids, neighbors, friends

and family to enjoy snacks, crafts and the

Easter Egg Hunt.

Children’s Sunday School Update

Becky Everly’s Haiti Mission Trip

Please remember Becky Everly and eleven others who

will be traveling March 26th thru April 2nd to Haiti.

During this month, lets remember to show our support with many prayers for the work that they will be doing

and for a safe trip.

In the coming weeks you may notice a little more noise and foot traffic in the downstairs Sunday School hall. As a result from the Child Abuse Preven-tion (CAP) Orientation meet-ing, it was decided to move all the Children’s class-rooms to the downstairs rooms. This was done in order to allow classrooms to be viewed from the window adjacent to the doors and to help keep our kids safe. The nursery renovations from the water leak have now been completed, new carpet and all! Thanks to Jenny Holmes’ class for relocating to the library so children’s transition could be fully com-pleted.
