FOR BRAKE OVERHAULS WHO GETS THE WARRANTY? This Warranty applies to the original purchaser. WHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG? On a brake overhaul listed inside, if the brake lining or brake part installed by a Firestone store on private passenger ears or light t rueks wears out or becomes unserviceable within 90 days or 3,000 miles (whichever comes first), it will be replaced free of charge, in-eludin9 labor. Additionally, some brake overhauls provide for ad-justment on a pro rata mileage basis a~er the free replacement period. Sea Chart Inside. WHAT IS NOT COVERED? To the extant permitted by law, Firestone dlsclalms llablllty for consaquantlal damages. Some states do not allow the ex-clusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limit..Jtion or exclusion may not apply to you. Rotors and drums are not included under this Warranty. PRO RATA CHARGES. A~er the free replacement period, any pro rata adjustments are based upon the percent of warranted mileage received, which is de-termined by dividing the warranted mileage (see chart) into the mileage obtained at the time of adjustment, provJded the time period for the warranty has not expired. The percent of miles received is multiplied by the current "package price" or the individ-ual part and installation price for the replaced part at Firestone stores, whichever is to your advantage.
