Presentation Day
Our Annual Presentation Day will be held tomorrow Tuesday
12th December, starting at 10:00am at the Finley High School
Hall. The awards handed out on the day will be very similar to
previous years. This is a time when we formally recognise the
achievements of our students and all the hard work they have
put into their studies this year. Please feel welcome to attend
and celebrate student success with us.
Student Reports
Reports have gone home today with your child/ren. If you
would like an interview with your teacher to discuss your child’s
progress, please make an appointment. This is a time when you
can have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s
education answered. Even though there are no structured
interviews scheduled for Semester 2 reports, please feel
welcome to make an appointment if you feel it necessary.
Choir
I would like to thank and congratulate our school choir for their performances on Saturday night and at the
Finley Regional Care Facility. By all reports they represented our school with pride, which is wonderful to hear.
Thank you to Miss Lewis and Miss Dring for assisting with this group.
Yr6 Graduation
What a wonderful night our Year 6 Graduation ceremony turned out to be last Thursday night. The students
seemed to thoroughly enjoy the ceremony and the disco that followed. I would like to congratulate our Year 6
students on completing primary school. I wish them all well as they commence the next chapter in their school
journey, High School. Thank you to Miss Willis and Miss Harris for organising the event. Also thanks to Tracie
Doohan for creating and cooking the graduation cake.
