General LedgerThe General Ledger is an intuitive accounting tool that will keep your financials—from
overviews to the finest monetary detail—on track. As the central storehouse for your
accounting data, the General Ledger lets you report on budgets, forecasts and actual
results. You can customise accounting periods and year-end to match your company’s
reporting requirements. Other time-saving features include the Trapeze multi-entity
functionality, for splitting expenses across multiple companies and profit centres within a
single journal, and importing data to Trapeze General Ledger from comma-separated values
(csv) work files, and exporting data to Excel for analysis.
DebtorsTrapeze Debtors lets you set up a convenient record of all debtor accounts. You can create
an unlimited number of debtor master files, including multiple address, phone and
contact details. Debtor invoices and statements can be distributed quickly and easily
through the module’s automatic e-mail functionality, and you can attach notes and
reminders to your debtor files as a means of creating an audit trail of all communication.
The Trapeze Debtors integrates seamlessly with the Trapeze Charter and Trapeze Freight
Billing modules.
CreditorsTrapeze Creditors simplifies data entry and eliminates data duplication through the
integration with the Trapeze Purchase Order module. Creditors can be set up with default
expense accounts and are allocated to user defined payments groups to simplify the
payment process. Creditor invoices are scanned and attached to transactions at the time
of data entry for easy future reference. Creditor trading terms allow for simple payment
generation based on invoice due dates to ensure on-time payments to external suppliers.
Various inquiries and reports can be utilised to analyse historical data.
AssetsTrapeze Assets lets you maintain both book and tax depreciation records for your fixed
assets. Assets can be categorised by both asset types and locations with the added ability
to record insurance, warranty, and leasing data. Depreciation methods include straight line,
reducing balance and immediate write-off as well as more complex depreciation scales.
Asset revaluations and low-value pools are also catered to. To support your reporting, the
module includes summary and detailed depreciation schedules, addition and disposal
reports and asset listings.
Bank ReconciliationThe Trapeze Bank Reconciliation module allows you to import bank statements so you can
easily reconcile bank entries for all your company bank accounts and credit cards. Regular
bank transactions, such as bank charges, leases or customer receipts by electronic funds
transfer (EFT), can be allocated to a default General Ledger account or Debtor account. The
automatic allocation function provides efficient reconciling with minimum data entry. The
module offers multiple reporting options for highlighting unreconciled and un-presented
items in your bank accounts.

The Trapeze Financial and Payroll modules streamline the complexities of business accounting. They allow you to easily and precisely monitor the status of all
your financial dealings, from general ledger entries, receivables, payables, payroll and asset management to bank reconciliation.
Fully integrated with other Trapeze modules, the Financial and Payroll modules eliminate the unnecessary duplication of data entry. The “multi-entity”
feature also lets you create inter-company entries that instantaneously reconcile transactions across multiple legal entities so your record-keeping
effortlessly grows with your business.
PayrollTracking Time and AttendanceUsed as a stand alone or with other modules, Trapeze Payroll automatically
calculates payroll transactions according to your chosen weekly, fortnightly,
or monthly intervals. The complete award interpretation takes the hours
worked from timesheets and automatically calculates employee pay,
including overtime, penalty rates, and allowances based on the specific
award or agreement.
Flexible SetupThe extensive setup menu offers an unlimited number of user-defined fields,
including Business Units, Awards, Tax Scales, Superannuation and Payment
Types. You can also specify any number of Leave Groups, for recording and
monitoring the accrual, granting and taking of statutory leave, rostered days
off and make-up banks. The option to create employee master files, which
include employment applications, references, performance evaluations, and
photographs, puts vital information at hand.
SuperannuationThe Payroll tool lets you specify complex rules, based on legislation and
award conditions, to ensure accurate superannuation calculations and
compliance. The module’s export utility creates comma-separated values (csv)
files so you can rest assured that your monthly or quarterly contributions to
superannuation clearing houses will be distributed accurately.
Payroll ProcessingExceptions to the rule pose some of the greatest challenges for payroll
personnel. Trapeze Payroll exception reporting lets you easily check the pay
run before completion, while highlighting extraordinary items such as leave
paid above entitlement, employees not paid, and employees paid before
their next scheduled pay date. Pay advices can be e-mailed to employees as
password-protected PDFs, saving time and paper and increasing security.
