The Madrigal Singers perform works based on the texts of William Shakespeare as well as two motets for double choir: Komm, Jesu, Komm by J.S. Bach (BWV 229) and Ich aber bin elend by Johannes Brahms. Conducted by Dr. Leonard Ratzlaff.

“Nocturnes” with theUniversity of Alberta Concert Choir
The Concert Choir performs music related to night-time, including Eric Whitacre’s Water Night, Lassus’ La nuict froide et sombre, and R. Murray Schafer’s Epitaph for Moonlight. Come early for refreshments and individual performances by members of the Concert Choir -- doors open at 6:30 PM. Conducted by Dr. Rob Curtis.
