Introduction

Background of changing the website :based on the usability testing we conducted, we identified some difficulties with the current web site and irrelevant relationship between task and student activity in the reality.

We hope the new website can help students to find what they want to know, see and use.

category Unavailability of the search feature

Criteria to measure the usability

Success rate when performing a task measured in percent of test users capable of finishing a task.

Task performance measured by the amount of time it took an average user to perform an average test.

Subjective satisfaction measured by the user’s answers to questions, body language and facial expressions:

Suggestions for changes include

Adding search feature on the main page (Home page)

Renaming one of the categories from ‘About DePaul’ to ‘DePaul & faculty’

Adding more information on subsequent pages
