It is our great pleasure and honour to welcome members of the oil palm industry to the

22nd MPOB Transfer of Technology (TOT) Seminar and Exhibition 2016 on 2 June 2016 at

MPOB Head Office, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.

The TOT Seminar, which is organised annually since 1995, has been and will continue to be a

vital platform for MPOB to disseminate R&D findings for adoption and commercialisation by the

industry players and entrepreneurs.

From 1986 to 2015, a total of 586 technologies and 155 services were generated, 30.2% of which

have reached the market place with a market value worth billions of ringgit. Hence, MPOB

welcomes all entrepreneurs to take up this unique business opportunity and leverage on the

continuous growth of Malaysia’s palm oil industry.

We graciously invite the industry to the TOT Seminar and Exhibition 2016 to grab this excellent

opportunity in commercialising MPOB R&D findings for wealth creation.

The SeminarThis Seminar provides an avenue for the transition of technologies and services from the laboratory to the market place. This one-day event is aimed at providing a forum for interaction between MPOB researchers and industry players. The Seminar which includes presentations by MPOB researchers facilitates engagement between the researchers and entrepreneurs, through sharing of knowledge and experience on commercialisation. It is an annual event and has resulted in many success stories. It contributes towards energising the industry with innovations and opportunities in wealth creation.
