LIFT STATION STORAGE CAPACITY: This is the amount of water between the PUMP Off and PUMP ON locations in the wet well.
IF USING A FIXED SPEED PUMP: The storage capacity should be 1 to 2 times the flow rate of the pump.
IF USING A VARIABLE SPEED PUMP: The storage capacity should be 25-50% of the maximum flow rate of the pump.
TOTAL DYNAMIC HEAD: This is the pressure the pump will experience during pumping. It is the vertical rise in feet of the pumping
system plus the friction loss in the piping.
