Power Meters

Optical power meters are commonly used to measure absolute light power in

dBm. For dBm measurement of light transmission power, calibration of fibre

optic power meters is essential. A fibre optic power meter is also used with an

optical light source for measuring loss or relative power level in dB.

TWO-WAY LOSS TEST SETS

These two-way Loss Test Sets perform bi-directional loss measurement in

two directions simultaneously. They are today's easiest, fastest, most

accurate and most integrated field instruments.

These LTS

s also measure absolute power level, or generate and find tones. Two

instruments are usually used to check cabling losses. Single operator

pass/fail operation in a PON type environment is easily achieved. All LTSs

in this range are coloured red for easy identification. These Autotest

instruments are interoperable with any other Kingfisher Autotest

instruments with matching wavelengths.
