Applications are invited from suitably qualifiedcandidates for the posts of :—(a) General Engineering Foreman.(8) Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration Foreman.

Qualifications(a) Candidates must have serveda five-year apprenticeship as a Fitter/Machinistand have at least five years post apprenticeshipexperience in general engi eering and steam engi-neering. A final City and Guilds Certificate inMechanical Engineering is essential.(6) Applicants must have served a five-yearapprenticeship in General Fitting and Refrigerationand haveat least five years post experience, A finalCity and Guilds Certificate in Mechanical Engineer-ing is essential. Previous Supervisory experienceor training will be an advantage. Applicants shouldbe over 28 years old in each case.

Salary.—£482-500-518-542-569-596 per annum.(Point of entry depends on qualification andexperience).

Duties.—(a) Successful candidate will be respon-sible to the Chief Engineer for :-— oS(i) Maintenance of Mechanical plant and equip-ment including steam boilers, diese] plants,laundry and kitchen equipment.(%) Operation of Mechanical Servicesplant, ie,cold water, hot water and steam supplies.
