ABOUT THE LEVEL 4 OD-ETDP CERTIFICATE
This certificate will be useful for entry-level ETD’s, junior training
officers, and training administrators. This certificate can also be
utilised by persons who have not completed matric and wish to start a
learning pathway in education and training development.
Minimum Requirements:
Communication at NQF level 3or equivalent. (English grade 11)
Mathematical Literacy at NQF level 3 or equivalent. (Mathematics
/mathematical literacy grade 11)

Process of Assessment
This is an illustration of the assessment process; on the following page you’ll find an
explanation of each phase.

1. Register & Pre- Screening A registration form is sent to you, which you need to fill in with necessary documents if applicable.
2. Book a date for training A training calendar will be provided so that you can choose a date for training that suite your schedule.
3. Attend Training On agreed upon date you come in for training and you are given a learner guide & portfolio of Evidence
4. Complete Assessment The portfolio of Evidence consists of formatives and summatives. Formatives will be completed in class and summatives on your own.
5. Assessment is assessed and moderated
You have one month in which to complete your summative. Once completed you hand it in and a registered assessor assess it and sends you feedback. Your portfolio may be moderated as well.
6. Certification Within one month of submission you will
receive your certificate
Additional services:
Learner Guidance and Support – During the month that you are working on your
portfolio we are more than able to assist you with any difficulties and queries.
Portfolio Building – we also offer a service where by you can come in for one-on-one
sessions with one of our assessor’s where we focus on your specific areas of concern.
