LECTURE The Struggle for Tolerance in Mexico Tuesday, May 22, 2012 • 7:30 p.m. Ohr Shalom Synagogue 2512 Third Avenue, San Diego 92103 Tickets: $5.00 Enrique Chmelnik is a journalist and researcher who hosts “El Aleph de Radio Red: La Voz Judía en la Radio,” the only Jewish radio program in Mexico. He is the Director of the Center for Documentation and Research of the Ashkenazi Jewish Community in Mexico, where the history of the community is stored. He was involved in the creation of content for the museum Memoria y Tolerancia in Mexico City. He will discuss the current state of discrimination and tolerance in Mexico with an historic perspective. Organized by The Anti-Defamation League San Diego Regional Office.
