AWAKENING THE WARRIOR

IN YOU

Ephesians 5:14  for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." 

Judges 6:12  When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, "The LORD is with you, mighty warrior." 

James 4:7  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Judges 6:15  But Lord,  Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family." 

2.YOU HAVE AN ENEMY TO FIGHT WHO IS THE DEVIL WITH HIS EVIL FORCES

   NOTE: Your real enemy is the devil. Don’t fight the wrong enemy.

James 4:7  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Ephesians 6:12  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 

3.YOU POSSES INCREDIBLE POWER AND AUTHORITY 

A. TO OVERCOME THE DEVIL AND HIS EVIL FORCES 

Mar k 16:17  And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 

Luke 10:17  The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name." 

Luke 10:18  He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 

Luke 10:19  I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 

B.TO POSESS AND SEE THE FULFILMENT OF GOD’S PROMISES   Romans 8:31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:32  He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 

a. The power of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth

note: Speaking in tongues is speaking buy the power o the Holy Spirit

1Corinthians 14:2  For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won't be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious. 

b. The power Name of the Lord Jesus   ( the authority to bind and rebuke satan and all his evil forces using the powerful name of the Lord Jesus )

Matthew 18:18  I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 

Acts 16:18  She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her. 

c. The power of the Blood of Jesus ( invoke the Blood of the Lord Jesus )

 Revelation 12:11  They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. 

(AMP)  And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].

(CEV)  Our people defeated Satan because of the blood of the Lamb and the message of God. They were willing to give up their lives. 

(GW)  They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life so much that they refused to give it up. 

d. the power of the Words of God ( Use Scriptures to silence satan )

Hebrews 4:12 KJV  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 

AMP For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analysing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. 

e. The power of praising God’s name and The Lord Jesus’s Name.

Psalms 8:2  From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
