2nd Sunday of Lent ~ II Domingo de Cuaresma

St. Frances Cabrini Rosary Makers We are meeting every Thursday from 10:00am- 12:00pm. Come join us and make rosaries for worldwide distribution throughout Catholic Missions.

No experience necessary. For more informa-tion please call Barbara (817-243-6465).

WE NEED VOICES! If you like to sing and can carry a tune, the Saturday, Sunday morning and Spanish choirs need you as we prepare

for Lent and the Easter season. You don’t have to have a great voice or read music, and we need both men and women. If you are interested, see one of the choir member or contact Jim Brandehoff at 817-964-3247. Help us raise our voices in worship! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

NECESITAMOS VOCES!

Canned Food Drive The Knights of Columbus will be collecting canned food during Lent for the local food banks in the Granbury ar-ea. Please be generous in serving the less fortunate in our community by providing canned food items. Recep-tacles will be in the entry of the church and in the entry area of the FLC. Thank you for your generous support! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Encounter Cesia

We encounter Cesia in Nicaragua, where, despite a lack of economic opportunity, young people pursue their dreams by building businesses to better their lives. How can you work to improve the lives of others this Lent? How can you

support those, worldwide, who are forced to flee their homes to find safety or better opportuni-ties? Visit crsricebowl.org for more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Starting a New Life begins next session Sunday February 25th, 3 pm in St. Frances Cabrini Education Building

St. Frances Cabrini offers a ministry of grief support called Starting a New Life. For more than 20 years, this ministry offers this session to help people who have lost a spouse, a parent, a child, a relative, or a close friend to death. Getting through this adjustment is one of the hardest things people face in their lives. The major change to this ministry is that meetings will be on SUNDAYs from 3-5 p.m. This change will help those who do not wish to drive at night, and it can also benefit those who work, and cannot attend evening sessions during the week. This is a God-Centered non-denominational ministry, and He is part of the healing experienced in coping with the grief process. During our 20-year history, many that have gone through our program have chosen to give back to the minis-try. Their generosity has allowed Starting a New Life to offer this compassionate supportive ministry at no charge to the participants. If you know of someone who is suffering due to the death of a loved one, please refer them to this ministry, or even bring them Sunday February 25th to the first meeting. Please remember to pray for this ministry, for the facilitators and for the participants. For more information please call Phillis and Bill Brewer at 817-573-8915.
