SCHEDULE CHANGES FOR PRESIDENTS’ DAY: The parish office and adoration chapel will be closed this Monday, February 16th in observance of Presidents’ Day. Daily Mass will be at 10am. There will be no 9am or 12:15pm Mass on Monday. Our normal schedule will resume Tuesday, February 17th.

CONSECRATION TO JESUS THROUGH MARY: Preparation for a Total Consecration according to St. Louis de Montfort begins February 20th! FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY meets weekly in the RCIA room in Bldg. JIFF is presenting a 6 week STEP PROGRAM on Monday evenings that began February 2nd.

The Step Program is a nationally recognized parenting program that builds skills & develops understandings of behavior and the reasons for misbehavior.

David Statton will present for 6 Mondays: February 2nd – March 9th. Whether your child is a toddler or teenager, sessions will help develop a greater understanding of parenting. Light refreshments will be provided.

There is a $50 fee for the workshop and a $12 workbook fee.

BAPTISM CLASS: For parents who want children baptized in March, we will have class on Monday, February 23rd. Please call the parish office to register. LENTEN PREP TALK & DINNER: The St. Andrew Women’s Guild annual Lenten Prep Talk / Mardi Gras dinner will be held Tuesday, February 24th at 7pm in the family center. Father Peter Devereux of the Legionaries of Christ is our speaker, and will offer Confession to those who wish it. After the talk, we will have a festive dinner of jambalaya, gumbo, and other Louisiana specialties.

ADDITIONAL LENTEN MASSES AND STATIONS OF THE CROSS: During Lent, weekday daily masses will be 6:30am, 9:00am, and 12:15pm.

Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent at 7:00pm. THE ROSWELL OPTIMIST CLUB will be conducting it’s annual Oratorical Contest on Thursday, February 26th in the RCIA room from 6:30PM to 9PM. This year’s subject is “For me, Optimism is…” and will include students from several Roswell area schools. All are invited to attend. ST. MARTIN DE PORRES: We will provide dinner and lunches for two shelters, Central Presbyterian Church (~70 men) and Immaculate Conception (~35 men) on March 2nd. Volunteers are needed in preparing food, serving at the shelter, and staying overnight. To help, email [email protected]. CANNED FOOD DRIVE: The Edge Youth program will be collecting canned goods after each Mass on March 8th. Please bring us your canned goods and help us make our Drive a success! We will donate the canned goods to a local area in need.

DO YOU KNIT OR CROCHET? Join our Prayer Shawl Ministry! All skill levels are welcome, we can even teach you! We meet the first Thursday each month at 6:30pm in room 201. We also accept donations of yarn to make into “prayer shawls”. To donate yarn or for more info, call Christy Medina: 7/521-2857.

March 7-8: Cardboard Camp out! Start saving your cardboard boxes! We're going to camp out at the Church overnight and make our 'shelter' with cardboard boxes! We'll be collecting canned goods for local shelters and bonding over this experience during the Lenten season. We'll attend Mass the following day (March 8th) and have breakfast. Only open to children in grades 6th-8th! You must bring warm clothes, sleeping gear, and canned goods to this event. Each child needs to bring cardboard to create their 'shelter.' We'll be outside for much of this event, weather permitting. Please arrive at the Church by 6pm. Pickup on March 8 will be after the 12pm Mass. Each child will need a permission slip. March 16: St. Patrick's Day party in room 202! We'll have Irish food, music, and learn about the Irish culture and St. Patrick. Party will take place from 5:30 to 6:45. April 4: Come join us in our first annual Easter Basket Making party! We'll stuff Easter baskets for local children in need! Snacks will be available! 6-8pm in room 202.

MINISTERIO JOVENES ADULTOS: Mayores de 18 años. Te invita a sus reuniones semanales todos los viernes de 8-9:30pm.

COPA DE ELÍAS: La Copa de Elías se entrega al finalizar la misa a familias/personas dispuesta a orar por vacaciones sacerdotales durante una semana. El cáliz sirve de punto de enfoque durante la oración. Apúntate en el vestíbulo.

COMUNIDAD PEQUEÑA DE FE Y DEVOCIÓN A LA DIVINA MISERICORDIA: Reunión todos los lunes 6-7p.m. en la capilla. Enseñanza de 7-9 p.m. Salón 207.

CATECUMENADO PREPARACION

DE NINOS Y ADULTOS

R.I.C.A.: Preparación de niños mayores de 8 años para recibir los sacramentos de Bautismo, Reconciliación, Eucaristía y Confirmación.

Preparación también para Adultos que les falten todos, algún sacramento o quieran cambiar de otra religión a la Católica. Los participantes en este programa R.I.C.A. recibirán todos los sacramentos este año en la Vigilia del Sábado Santo. Consideren las bendiciones que recibirán desde el momento que Cristo se manifieste en ustedes al recibirlo en los Sacramentos.

Clases todos los domingos 5:30-6:45pm en el salon de R.I.C.A.

HORARIO: Pláticas de Preparación: Primer martes de mes de 7-9:30pm, asistencia de padres y padrinos requerida. Salón RCIA. No hay guardería. Bautizos: Segundo sábado de mes 11am en la capilla.

Requisitos: Registrados en la parroquia por un periodo de tres meses. Acta de nacimiento del niño/a. Padrinos: Practicantes y cumpliendo las reglas de la Santa Iglesia. Certificado de matrimonio. Solteros: Mayores de 16 anos, bautizados, primera Comunión y confirmados. Certificado de bautismo.

ATENCION: HORARIO DEL MINISTERIO HISPANO: Martes, miércoles y jueves 10 a 3 de la tarde.
