BACKING FABRIC CAP-RV-8001 ¾ yd. (Suggested)

¼" seam allowances are included.WOF means width of fabric.

CONSTRUCT ION

Sew all rights sides together with ¼"seam allowance.

DIAGRAM 1

•Use steam-a-seam paper or a light weight fusible interfacing before cutting templates 2 & 3, this will add stability to your appliqués

•Fabric A:

•Cut (15) Template 1.

•Cut (2) Template 2.

•Cut (3) Template 3.

•Cut (5) Template 4.

•Backing from fabric A

•Fabric B:

•Cut (3) Template 1.

•Cut (4) Template 2.

•Cut (1) Template 4.

•Fabric C:

•Cut (3) template 1.

•Cut (8) template 2.

•Create the following combinations using templates 1, 2, 3 and 4

•Use steam a seam or a light weight fusible interfacing to attach templates 2 & 3 to template 1 easily.

•Template 2 & 3 will be attached using a top stitch around each template on top of template 1

in its corresponding fabric

•Refer to the following diagrams for exact fabric placement and attachment in the following combinations:

QUILT ASSEMBLY

Sew rights sides together.

•Pin all layers together and baste with basting thread, using long stitches. You can also use safety pins to join the layers.

•Machine or hand quilt starting at the center and working towards the corners. Remember that quilting motifs are a matter of personal preference. Have fun choosing yours!

•After you finished, trim excess of any fabric or batting, squaring the pillow.

P ILLOW BACK ING

Sew all rights sides together with ¼"seam allowance. Press open.

• To make a envelope back for your pillow cut two (2) 13½" x 15 rectangles and fold one 15" side on each rectangle in 1/2" and press and then fold another 1/2" and press.

• Top stitch as close to the edge as possible. Place rect-angles right side together on top of each other to the front of your pillow and stitch all the way around your pillow at ¼" seam allowance.

•Clip corners at seam allowance and flip piece to the right side of the fabric.

• Fill pillow with a 20 x 20" pillow form and enjoy!
