The Only EKG Book You’ll Ever Need, Eighth EditionPublished by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins

Dr. Thaler’s ability to simplify complex concepts makes this an ideal tool for students, teachers, and practitioners at all levels who need to be competent in understanding how to read an EKG. Clear illustrations, clinical examples, and case studies help you quickly learn how identify and interpret hypertrophy and enlargement, arrhythmias, conduction blocks, pre-excitation syndromes, myocardial infarction, and more.

Cardiovascular Disorders: Disease & Drug ConsultPublished by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins

This practical and convenient handbook provides monographs of prevalent cardiovascular diseases plus monographs of the drugs used to treat them. For example, a nurse can read a full description of heart failure, and then turn to the drug monographs for a full discussion of each of the drugs used to treat that disease.

Join experts, Karen M. Marzlin, DNP, RN, CCNS, CCRN-CMC, CHFN & Cynthia L. Webner, DNP, RN, CCNS, CCRN-CMC, CHFN, for this high-powered program loaded with practical information designed to increase your confidence when caring for today’s

complex cardiac patients. Regardless of your setting, you must be prepared to deal with cardiac emergencies, have a thorough understanding of the associated pharmacology, and be able to identify life-threatening changes on the ECG. They will provide practical tools and tips that will make this job easier and help improve outcomes for your patients. Additionally, we will discuss the latest management strategies for the three most common reasons for cardiac hospital admissions including acute coronary syndrome (ACS), heart failure (HF) and atrial fibrillation (AF).
