Programmes enjoy an on-going relationship with professionals from companies in the region and internationally. The strong focus on enterprise and entrepreneurship provides a solid base for post-graduate success in a wide range of career pathways.

The Faculty of Business and Science is a community within which students, educators, practitioners and researchers work together to develop distinctive, critically informed practice which is relevant to cultural advancement and economic growth. Level 4 AAT

Once you have achieved this qualification, you can continue into further studies with a number of qualifications including ACCA, CIMA or ACA, becoming a qualified Accountant. You’ll also be prepared to work at a senior level in an accounts position of a large company - so start your AAT Level 4 at Hull College for exciting opportunities ahead.

The AAT Level 4 course will cover budgeting, financial performance, financial statements, internal control of accounting systems, personal tax and external auditing. You’ll learn how to prepare financial information for companies and how to analyse this information for internal and external stakeholders.

Working as an accountant, you’ll be good with figures and numbers. There are a lot of opportunities available for qualified AAT professionals up and down the country. BA (Hons) Applied Social Science

This award is validated by The Open University

On graduation you’ll have the skills you need for working in the public, private, or third sector in a range of roles from probation officer to police officer. We’re forging links with the British Psychological Society and the Social Science Association to continuously improve our offering. Foundation Degree Business and Management

You will graduate with a range of employability skills after studying business at an operational level. Hull College works with a range of brands including Tesco, Rix and IKEA to ensure that our courses are developed for businesses by businesses. Once you have completed your Foundation Degree, you will be able to progress onto the final year of the BA (Hons) Business & Management at Hull College.

Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) Level 3 and Level 5 (Subject to approval)

Working as a legal executive lawyer, legal practitioner or paralegal is a fantastic career option with lots of opportunity for progression. Continue your studies up to the next level to gain further knowledge and insight into the legal industry. Study your CILEx qualification at Hull College this year.

The course covers five units from a selection, depending on your field of interest. These could include family law, employment law, conveyancing, probate, working with elderly clients, wills and succession, and much more. BSc (Hons) Construction Management (Top Up)

Foundation Degree Criminology

Hull College works closely with the wider third sector community holding an annual Community Safety Conference with guest lectures and workshops from organisations such as Victim Support; ReNew; Youth Justice Board; Humberside Police and Hull Domestic Violence Partnership. HND stands for Higher National Diploma, a vocationally led higher level programme. It is roughly equivalent to two years of a degree.

Foundation Degrees are higher education qualifications which combine academic study with workplace learning.

Top-Up Degrees are used to ‘top-up’ HND or Foundation Degrees to Bachelor level.

Access Courses are one year pre-degree courses designed to help those who do not have traditional qualifications to progress onto a degree or higher level study programme.

HNC stands for Higher National Certificate, a vocational qualification equivalent to one year of a degree.

Bachelor’s Degrees are undergraduate degrees referred to as BA (Bachelor of Arts), BSc (Bachelor of Sciences) or BEng (Bachelor of Engineering).

Rail: Just a ten minute walk from the College, Hull Paragon Station has direct services to towns and cities like Leeds, Doncaster, Manchester and York. There is also a regular and direct service between Hull and London Kings Cross, taking less than three hours.
