Satellite Bases are satellite navigation that provides GPS based positioning navigation system and timing services for all operations of flight that are terminal controls, en route and surface navigation.

Airspace of operation

Canadian domestic airspace is divided into Northern Domestic Airspace and Southern Domestic Airspace.

Northern Domestic Airspace designated as Standard Pressure region which is 29.92 inches of mercury or 1013 hPa and Southern Domestic Airspace uses Altimeter Setting Region.

There are seven classes of airspaces in Canada through letter A to G.

According to Transport Canada Inspector Training Booklet for Operational Control’s Website Type A classification shall apply to air operators carrying passengers in Airline Operations using more than 6 aeroplanes:

(a) Having a passenger-seating configuration of 20 or more;

(b) having a maximum gross take-off weight of 45,455 kg (100,000 lbs.) or more; and

(c) Operating under complex operation

Considering all above and numbers of fleet, numbers of passenger-seating, gross weight, numbers of flights, and operating mixed domestic and international Air Canada Rouge Airline is under Type A Operational Control Syestem.
