Steubenville grads Ben and Lori Gehl raise a variety of animals on their 90 acre property, striving to raise nutritious food for the community and treating the animals with respect. The intern(s) would be introduced to how to run a successful farm, from both a farming and business perspective. Interns would be responsible for learning the farm operation, including caring for animals,creating and improving farm infrastructures, and selling directly to customers at the Farmer's Market. Additionally, interns should be prepared to assess the current farming operation and plan on undertaking a particular project improvement of their choosing. The intern would be responsible for the research, planning and execution of the project, but would receive guidance from Ben and Lori throughout the project life cycle. Candidates should be hard working, able to do strenuous physical work, adventurous, and prepared to be fully integrated into the farming business. Full or part time positions available. Farm Internship

Providence Creek Farm is a sustainable pastured meat farm in Buffalo, NY. Steubenville gradsBen and Lori Gehl raise a variety of animals on their 90 acre property, striving to raise nutritiousfood for the community and treating the animals with respect.

The intern(s) would be introduced to how to run a successful farm, from both a farming andbusiness perspective.

Interns would be responsible for learning the farm operation, including caring foranimals,creating and improving farm infrastructures, and selling directly to customers at theFarmer's Market. Additionally, interns should be prepared to assess the current farming operationand plan on undertaking a particular project improvement of their choosing.
