Familias Fuertes y Saludables es un projecto comunitario para

promover la salud materno-infantil de familias Hispanas/Latinas en

el condado de Kent. Queremos que cada familia obtenga todo lo

necesario para tener un embarazo saludable y asegurar que sus

niños crezcan bien.

We’re Here to Help!

Familias Fuertes y Saludables (Strong and Healthy Families) is a

community project to improve maternal and child health among

Hispanic/Latina families in Kent County. We want every family to

have what they need in order to have a healthy pregnancy and

make sure their children grow well.

All services are

completely free.

We offer services to women and their families during

pregnancy and for two years after delivery. Teams of

community health workers, educators, nurses and social workers

offer these services:

Home visits for social support

Education and information on topics related to health, prenatal

care, and infant care

Nutrition and breastfeeding support

Counseling for stress and depression

Parenting classes

Help with getting resources such as transportation, food, baby

supplies and medical care.

salud, educadoras, enfermeras, y trabajadoras

sociales, le ofrecemos:

Visitas a domicilio para proveer apoyo social

Nutrición y apoyo con la lactancia

Consejos para aliviar el estrés y la depresión

Clases de parentazgo
