As the air turns crisp, Battery Park City’s programming is just heating up. From free movies, music and art, to workshops, tours and more, our 2017 Fall Events Calendar has more than 400 offerings for kids from one to ninety-two. So come join us for free flicks in Rockefeller Park or Go Fish! at Wagner Park. Enjoy the sounds of Dockappella to start your October and seasonal music and sweets at our traditional Holiday Lights celebration. Or simply take a walk of our breathtaking parkland and tour the newly-reopened Irish Hunger Memorial with its award-winning designer, Brian Tolle.

Winter in New York City is a tough season. Inclement temperatures and shorter days can discourage kids from playing outdoors. But let’s not forget how much fun the sea-son can be! There are many activities at the BPC Ball Fields to keep kids busy throughout the winter. Activities organized by Ball Fields staff or play on your own. Equipment provided. For ages 7 and older.

6 RIVER TERRACE6 River Terrace is our flexible community space, available to rent for parties, meetings, and more! The 2000 sq.ft., wheelchair accessible space has street level access and over 350 square feet of windows that provide natural light and views of the the park and the Hudson River.

Rates start at $600 for a 2 hour event, with an hour before and after for set up and clean up.

The rental includes Parks staff on site throughout the duration of the event.

To best accommodate clients, applications must be received at least one month in advance of the requested rental date.
