The partners involved in this first-ever project in Quebec are the New Frontiers School Board/Chateauguay Valley Career Education Centre, the Municipality of Ormstown, Habitat for Humanity Quebec, and ÉcoHabitation. The result will be a semi-detached home for two families in Ormstown, Quebec.

The home is being built in a modular fashion, onsite at the Chateauguay Valley Career Education Centre (CVCEC). When ready, the modules will be transported to the build site and assembled by local contractors. CVCEC students will participate in all aspects of the build and the goal is to attain LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification for the home upon completion.

The two families, selected by Habitat for Humanity Quebec (registration process included) should be ready to move into their homes in July 2017.

Why get involved? By being part of this project, you are supporting quality and innovative education and product development. Your product or service will be recognized and promoted by experts in the construction industry and publicized via various media (school board websites, facebook pages, partners’ websites, newspapers, radio, etc).
