Holiday parties are a wonderful way to show appreciation and bring family and friends together for a wonderful meal and a day of making new memories. Try a few of these holiday party planning tips to create a festive bash they won’t soon forget.

A steady supply of both food and drink is crucial to holiday party planning. But when it comes to portion control, how much food you should order depends on the menu.

Here are a few general rules for portions: 4-5 ounces per person

: 8-10 per person 8-10 pieces per person

6 ounces per person 1 ½ drinks per person per hour

Remember, it’s always best to err on the side of too much rather than too little!

Let the colors of the season take center stage by dressing your place settings with seasonal hues:
