    JOB SATISFACTION (JS)

    # Luthans (1985)- factorsinfluence JS are pay, the workitself, promotions, supervision,workgroup, and workingconditions.

    #Jenner (1994) - employees

    job satisfaction is an importanttechnique for eliminatingabsenteeism, reducing turnover,and eventually raisingproductivity.

    PAY# Lambert et al., (2001)-found that financial rewardshave a significant impact on

    job satisfaction andperformance.

    QUALITY OFSUPERVISION

    # McCalister (2003) -studied the overallrelationship at workplacethat included supervisor &coworker support andexamined its impact on workstress and job satisfaction

    he discovered thatrelationships at workconsiderably influence workstress and job satisfaction.

    GENERATION X

    # Generation X are placing ahigh importance onmaintaining their work-lifebalance and constantlyseeking for a balance betweenfamily, life and work (Gursoyet. al., 2008; Kaylene et. al.,2010).

    WORKINGCONDITIONS

    # Luthans, (1998)-said that

    if working conditions aregood, for instance clean,and attractive surroundings,employees will find it easierto carry out their jobs. Onthe other hand, if theworking conditions are poorlike hot and noisy

    surroundings, employeeswill find it difficult to get theirwork done and therebyexperience dissatisfaction.

    GENERATION Y

    # Zhou (2012)-found Gen Ysare largely dissatisfied withtheir work significantly morethan their elder generations.
