Billy the Kid Billy was born William Henry McCarty on the 23 rd November 1859 Billy died on the 14 th July 1881when he was just aged 21. He died due to a gunshot wound. He participated in the Lincoln County War and became a frontier outlaw in the American Old West

His birth place was Troy Grove, Illinois, US He died August 2, at age 39 at Deadwood, Dakota Territory, US His cause of death was murder as he was murdered by Jack McCall. Resting place Mount Moriah Cemetery His occupation when alive was Lawman, gunfighter and gambler.
