Assignment 2

DOUGLAS ERIC FONSECA RODRIGUES

The TempleFirstly, I cutted a plane so that edges was setted according to the plan provided. After that, I extruded some faces creating the stairs.

The same process was applied to create the temple walls.

A cube was put on the top of the temple to create the roof.

Finally, the columns were create from a cube. I applied the “smooth” effect in the middle of the column to make the column cylindrical.

The first column was placed following the plan provided, and duplicated to the other places specified.

The FaceI used a different way than taught in the classroom to create the face. I tried to create it from a cube but I was not getting satisfied with the result due to lack of details and the flattening of the face. Following tutorials videos on Blender tool, I tried to reproduce the same process in Maya. It was a little difficult due to the difference of the tools, but I liked the result.

Basically, I started modeling the face from a plane, extruding from an edge and prolonging the planes according to the curves of the face.

Finished the outline of the face, I began to fill the holes using the tools "Bridge" and "Fill Hole".

I started the outline of the lips and filled the remaining cheek.

Finished the face, I placed the eye.

The nose was created from a cube. After finishing its modeling, it was merging the face using the "Bridge" function.

The half-face was doubled and glued the other one with the "Bridge" function.

However, I did not like the resulting forehead, so I remade from the beginning.

Finishing the lower jaw.

The ears were created from a cube and placed on the head.

Finished work.
