Trail Mix (Walking Group)Join our walking group (Trail Mix) to get out, enjoy the outdoors, and utilize the many trails in and around Roseville. This group is different from the current Maidu Walkers group and the average walk is anywhere from 3-4 miles. Explore our local area while getting in some light exercise. Trail Mix meets at a different trail every Tuesday morning at 9:00 beginning in May. Please visit the FAB desk to be sure you are on our group email list to be notified of changes and updates.

PIckleballCome get your blood pumping while playing one of the country’s fastest growing sports. Pickleball is a racket sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. We currently have a regular group of players and are looking for new participants. This is a beginners group who meet twice a week, no experience is required. Meets Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00am at Woodbridge Park (weather permitting). Please visit the FAB desk to be sure you are on our group email list to be notified of changes and updates.

Bocce BallWe have a weekly bocce ball game on Fridays at 10:00am, now meeting at the Maidu Sports Courts, that will run throughout the year, weather permitting. No meeting May 18th. We currently have a regular group of players and are looking for new participants. Come out and give this fun sport a try. CanastaThis is a new group beginning May 11th. We have several players interested and are looking for more to join us. Canasta will be part of Game Day starting at 10:00am on Thursdays and will have its own time on Fridays at 1:00pm.

Information and AssistanceThe Seniors First Information and Assistance Program is the “go to” resource for senior-focused programs, services and assistance. The program is designed to assist Placer County seniors age 60 and older get the resources and assistance they need to remain healthy and independent. We also welcome calls from family members, caregivers and other interested parties who are assisting seniors in getting the services they need. Photo I.D. ProgramThis photo registration service for Roseville residents helps families of those who have dementia or other memory impairments. Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP)This free service provides a state - registered counselor who can help you with questions or problems relating to Medicare ( Parts A, B & D ) billing and claims, managed care, supplemental insurance, and Long Term Care insurance. This program is for those 65+ (or soon to be eligible for Medicare ) or disabled adults on Social Security. Call (916) 376-8915 for an appointment.
