These concerts run from 12:10 - 12:40 pm to accommodate lunch schedules, and are always free and open to the public. Spread the word and don’t miss the second recital of the season!

Ash WednesdayThe season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 13. The same service will be offered in the Chapel at 12:30 and 7:30 pm to fit your schedule. This meaningful worship includes the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.

Pennies for HaitiToday during Coffee Fellowship, we will continue to collect contibutions of any size in a “Pennies for Haiti” fundraiser for the Haiti work team. Bring loose change, dollar bills or donations of any amount, because every contribution matters. Thank you all for your support, prayers and contributions.

UMW Theater PartyThe United Methodist Women are hosting a fundraiser with the Palisades Theater on Sunday February 17. The Palisades Theater presents the world premiere comedy by Diane Grant, “Has Anybody Here Seen Roy?” Performance is at 2 pm, at the Pierson Playhouse in Pacific Palisades. Tickets are $25. The Welcome Table outside the church doors is brimming with flyers, brochures, and information. The

Welcome Ambassadors greet all who come to worship. They help familiarize visitors with the church

and direct people to the restrooms, the nursery, Coffee Fellowship, and meetings and events. If you

are interested in serving in this ministry, please call the church office or stop by the Hospitality Table.

The Hospitality Table is set up every Sunday during Coffee Fellowship in Simkins Hall in The Shelby

Center and is a central place for visitors and members alike to

ask questions and to find information on all our programs and

ministries. You can order a name badge, purchase books for

Rev. Farris’ Book Studies, order Sunday flowers, turn in your

pledge or offering, volunteer your services, request prayers,

and so much more! The Hospitality Table is your connection to

C.A.S.T. Auditions!Children’s After School Theater’s Spring Semester starts off with auditions Monday, February11. 1st- 4th graders will audition from 4-6 pm and 5th-12th graders will audition from 6:30-8:30 pm. C.A.S.T. fosters positive, Christian-centered actions while building self-esteem through the arts. Everyone who auditions will be cast! There is a $125 activity fee. The Welcome Table outside the church doors is brimming with flyers, brochures, and information. The

Welcome Ambassadors greet all who come to worship. They help familiarize visitors with the church

and direct people to the restrooms, the nursery, Coffee Fellowship, and meetings and events. If you

are interested in serving in this ministry, please call the church office or stop by the Hospitality Table.

The Hospitality Table is set up every Sunday during Coffee Fellowship in Simkins Hall in The Shelby

Center and is a central place for visitors and members alike to

ask questions and to find information on all our programs and

ministries. You can order a name badge, purchase books for

Rev. Farris’ Book Studies, order Sunday flowers, turn in your

pledge or offering, volunteer your services, request prayers,

and so much more! The Hospitality Table is your connection to

C.A.S.T. Auditions!Children’s After School Theater’s Spring Semester starts off with auditions Monday, February11. 1st- 4th graders will audition from 4-6 pm and 5th-12th graders will audition from 6:30-8:30 pm. C.A.S.T. fosters positive, Christian-centered actions while building self-esteem through the arts. Everyone who auditions will be cast! There is a $125 activity fee.
