Boomer’s BOOT CAMP presented by Kroger Your Pacers mascot, Boomer, is grabbing a towel and throwing on a head band to help you get Pacers fit. Boomer’s Boot Camp will teach you the importance of exercise and nutrition and lead you through a shaking, hopping, and moving round of exercises all done

HEALTH SCREENINGS Do you know your health numbers? Marian University and PTS Diagnostics are offering FREE adult health screenings for blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), glucose, and cholesterol (total, LDL, HDL and triglycerides). Participants will receive a scorecard and should review their individual results with their Primary Care Physician.

DESCRIPTION Detect signs of autism to help determine if additional diagnostic assessment is needed

Check for bone loss and if person is at risk for fracture

Check if symptoms (headache, digestive, fatigue, etc.) are linked to nervous system

Determine “regular” or “irregular” heartbeat

Check eye pressure as a possible sign of glaucoma

Isometric strength of hand & forearm using dynamometer, indicates body strength

Maximum grip strength using dynamometer; indicates muscle mass

Image of facial skin changes incl. photo to show otherwise undetectable changes

Posture/movement test uses iPad, gives visual feedback, ID’s related health issues

Muscle flexibility of the lower extremity, assessment of “tight” areas & recommend

Examine skin for possible sun damage, dehydrated areas, clogged/oily pores (not cancer)

Determine if there is nerve damage using complete surface electromyography

Test posture for possible misalignment of the spine & courses of action to eliminate pain

Orthopedic spinal examination for scoliosis, back/neck pain and brief doctor consultation

Posture analysis, scoliosis check, electromyogram scan to test for spine misalignment

Determine ability to use eyes efficiently in sports, and if training can offer benefits

Check for signs of a thyroid condition, including nodules

Vision acuity screening to determine if a full eye exam is needed

Test ability to read an eye chart, and if glasses are needed

Test visual acuity and provide perimeter scores, temporal and nasal
