EVERY INNOVATIONSTARTS WITH AN IDEA.
Innovation requires imagination and the wil-lingness to distance yourself from tried and tested routines. Because the way to solve a problem is not to follow your usual way of thin-king or because a particular problem requires a better solution.
As the development specialist within the Tech-noform Group, we specialise in finding inno-vative solutions: in developing and producing complex plastic profiles which meet extremely demanding requirements in terms of geome-try, material and function as well as bico- and trico-monofilaments.
We scour the globe to find every conceivable application for our high-precision thermopla-stic extrusion technology. Our goal: to actively identify trends at an early stage and to develop ideas for products - before the customer asks for them.

Production and Series Profiles:
Our customers set extremely demanding requirements for our profiles in terms of material, geometry and functionality – and so they should do. After all, we are systematically working to excel and stay ahead of the competition.
Research and Development:
One of our strengths can be seen in our speed of development: as a rule, it will take us no more than 14 days to turn an idea into a series-quality sample profile. A service which we can guarantee through our interdisciplinary project teams and global network of knowledge.
Innovation Center:
This is where our ideas come from for the products of tomorrow: we identify and analyse future requirements and create intelligent solutions to future challen-ges. For our own benefit and for the benefit of our customers.

When you consider that reducing the weight of a car by 10% reduces fuel consumption by about 5%, it is easy to recognise how impor-tant lightweight construction concepts are within the automotive industry: more and more metal components are being replaced by pla-stic ones. The automotive industry sets extre-mely demanding requirements for the quality of materials and components.
Our high-end extrusion process enables us to meet all of the requirements set. With their maximum geometrical precisi-on, surface smoothness – even with glass-fibre reinforcement – and precisely calibra-ted hollow chambers, our plastic profiles have been the choice of numerous leading vehicle manufacturers for many years.

Reducing weight by using plastic instead of metal is a hot topic within the aircraft indu-stry too. As a result, the Airbus A380, with its weight of 240 tons when empty, weighs around 15 tons less than an aircraft of the same size of conventional construction. All the structural components are subject to the strictest safety standards.
Our high-end extrusion process allows the re-liable processing of numerous industry-appro-ved high-performance plastics. These include polyamide, polycarbonate and polyetherimide: materials which are difficult to process using conventional extrusion processes. All test runs are carried out under real conditions, enabling the development of series-quality sample pro-files to be carried out as quickly as possible. this guarantees a highly efficient process of optimisation.

CONSTRUCTION: OPTIMUM ENERGY BALANCE PERFORMANCEAgainst the background of increasingly deman-ding provisions within the Energy Saving Ordi-nance (EnEV), window and façade manufactur-ers are being set requirements which are more stringent than ever before. Heat transmission target values call for precision, weight has to be optimised and there are strict requirements regarding aesthetic appearance, economy of production and the speed of development. We have been serving customers who are manufacturers of windows, doors and façade systems for many years now. They value the precision of our work which reliably meets the most demanding requirements regarding the heat transmission coefficient (U-value). Our extraordinarily smooth paintable surfaces also ensure a pleasing aesthetic appearance.

AUTOMATION AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING: MAXIMUM OPERATING SAFETYPlastic profiles are ideal for use in electronic installations as the combination of insulating plastic connectors and metal inserts fulfil dif-ferent important aspects: on the one hand, the profiles act as precisely dimensioned connec-tors for assemblies which are easy to fit. On the other hand there is a directly integrated po-wer supply with endless tapping options, e.g. for supplying data or power. Profiles are ma-nufactured in a single operational step which ensures that metal parts are reliably anchored in the plastic connector.
The basis for maximum safety is created by the statutory provisions and industry requirements which are met at all times. It goes without saying that we work with halogen-free poly-amide, we hold yellow card certification and we take account of VDE or ROHS standards, for example.
Mounting rail for electrical control cabinets
The requirements:
Reliable integration of the power supply, preci-se positioning and fixing of the components and compliance with all fire protection provisions
The solution:
· Polyamide 6 VO · Production carried out using our high-end extrusion process · Compliance with industry standards (VDE, ROHS) · Precise wall thicknesses for the insulation of electrical components · Narrow tolerances of ± 0.05 mm · Precise positioning of conductive metal inserts · Series-quality samples produced within 14 days · Series production up and running within three weeks

In mechanical engineering, certain problems require individual solutions. Product develop-ment forms part of the value chain. Develop-ment time becomes a competitive factor while development processes for various compon-ents are carried out simultaneously. No com-pany can afford delays in this stage.
We offer our customers unbeatable benefits: the fast delivery of series-quality sample profi-les guarantees that test runs and optimisation can be carried out without losing time. The improvement of existing systems or functional expansions can be realised quickly and cost-effectively. High-strength materials as well as
the smallest tolerances of ± 0.05 mm ensure that assembly is carried out without problems and the installation operates reliably, even in tough conditions.
