Extended Export of Lists (XXL) helps achie"e a ti#hter inte#ration $etween the

R/ %yste& and ' applications XXL is an R/ co&ponent that uses !icrosoftExcel to display and &anipulate list objects fro& R/ applications

*he XXL has two pri&ary #oals:

*o pro"ide users with !icrosoft Excel functionality that can $e used withR/ lists+ directly fro& inside the R/ en"iron&ent

*o reco#ni,e the transferred data as %-' o$.ects in order to protect it fro&consistency $reaches

List o$.ects are les created $y R/ applications and transferred to XXL Listo$.ects contain the data to $e listed+ infor&ation on the list structure+ andcharacteristics of the data (meta infor&ation)
