The eHealth Network is a

voluntary network of national

authorities responsible for eHealth

that was set up as a result of the

EU’s Cross-border Healthcare

Directive.

It draws up guidelines in the area

of eHealth and aims to enhance

interoperability between

electronic health systems and

continuity of care, and to ensure

access to safe and quality

healthcare.
