Primary Logo

There are two logo options supplied for the Explore Your WorldTM brand. The primary logo features an incorporated DiscoveryTM lozenge. This is the preferred logo and should be used wherever possible.

Both logos are provided in two sizes - for use at 25mm high and above; or below 25mm high.

A drop shadow may be applied to the white holding device on all logos to differentiate it from the background.

In all instances, the height of ‘your world’ should be used as an exclusion zone from other logos and major graphic elements.

All logo options have been provided in PMS spot colour and CMYK. Wherever possible a full colour logo should always be used.

If unavoidable, a mono logo version has been provided for use in black only.

Packaging Guidelines

The Explore Your WorldTM

packaging is designed featuring colours and dot pattern taken from the brand logo. Specifi c elements are to be replaced according to product category.

Product description panel, right-hand colour strip and box interior must all be coloured according to category. The category icon and title must also be swapped out accordingly.

The brand architecture of the Explore Your WorldTM packaging is set to a grid which aids the designer with scaling and proportion of the box elements.

The grid is scaled to the width of the packaging and then dictates the scale of the elements shown.

The origin point for the grid must always be the bottom left corner, on the front face of the packaging; the elements are then constructed vertically from the base of the design.

Approval Process

Any new licensee will receive details of our approval

system with instructions and contact details. Please

submit all artwork for approval via email to your Explore

Your WorldTM representative. Once the artwork has been

reviewed, approval feedback will be sent via email.

All materials must be approved by Discovery International

Licensing in writing prior to production or printing.

We suggest that you seek approval at the following stages:

• Concept

• Layout & rough copy

• Pencil drawings, copy, mark up

• Final art, copy, initial strike offs, initial sculpts

• Proofs (cromalins, digital proofs, wet proofs,)

fi nal strike offs, fi nal sculpts

• Packaging

• Marketing materials

• Finished product

In the case of screen/ TV work including TV adverts:

• Story line / script

• Storyboard

• Proposed soundtrack / voice over

• Packaging (if applicable)

• Final edit with sound and legals to be supplied digitally

Each product submitted for approval will be issued

with a DEI reference number. Please use this in all

correspondence. Please build a 10 working day approval

time into your production schedules for each submission

stage.

REMEMBER:

• All products branded with the Explore Your WorldTM

copyright line and logo.

• All products must be sent to the Explore Your WorldTM

representative for approval.

PRODUCTION SAMPLES:

Please refer to your contract for the number of samples

to be supplied.
