Street and travel photography is a instinctive, creative , spon-taneous, photography genre which use the street and the urban environment as a broader and creative photography studio. Syracuse is among the most beautiful and characteristic cities in Italy, boasting a incredible culture, strong tradition, and hid-den beauties.

But Syracuse goes far beyond that. You will be astonished to discover the marvelous pearls that this city blessed by the sea reveals only to those able to expand their horizons.

You will discover new areas where tourists rarely go and you will be introduce to the real Syracuse. The classic attractions and places will become unique under your personal and creative way to look at them, furthermore you will learn and improve your pho-tography skills. The classes are for beginner and advanced photog-rapher. The spirit of the street is something different from mere pho-tography technique. We will capture the essence interacting with the surrounding world. For those even more interested in a better under-standing of photography techniques, the course will provide a sub-

stantial session dedicated to informations, tips and technical issues related to street and travel photography.

You will be introduced to the very first rule of street photography and traveling in general: to Walk. Your foot are the most natural means to get around. We will explore and capture the essence of the culture and the greatness of the place. Along with us, if required by the group or the private, a professional guide will initiate you to the more historical and cultural aspect of this Historical City.

During my workshop and explorations you will be introduce to a new photo-graphic world. You will be asked to do exercises and share your results with other students and me. You will have a better overall understanding of the prin-ciples of photography in terms of com-positions, techniques and ap-proaches.

You will be amazed how inspiring is out there!

You will explore, eat and behave like a local capturing photos that a tourist won’t be able to take.

ABOUT ROBERTOHe is a Sicilian “Out There” photographer . He has been based in Italy, Cyprus and London where he got his MA in photojourna-lism and documentary photography. He works as a freelance pho-tographer, commercial and photography teacher. He is special-ized in travel, sport, portrait and story telling photography (docu-mentary / social photography) .
