Check In/Check Out Policy

We strongly recommend students use our transfer service. Students that use the transfer service will be checked in upon arrival as part of this service. If students choose not to use our transfer service:

Dormitory students must check-in at the FLS office during regular business hours. Check-in will not be available in the evening or on weekends. Students checking-in on Friday will be charged two extra nights of accommodation. If arriving on a Sunday, student will not be able to check-in and will forfeit payment of first night.

For homestay, students are responsible for communicating their arrival time with the host family. Students should arrive between 2-9 PM. For students that use our transfer service, FLS will communicate and arrange the arrival and check-in with the host family.

Students are expected to leave their housing by noon on the day after their program ends. Students who request to leave housing after noon on Saturday should note that such requests are not guaranteed, and if granted will incur an additional housing charge.

Teachers have included Columbia University instructors and directors and technicians who’ve worked on major Hollywood productions, including projects with George Lucas and Ray Liotta. learn.Intensive English ProgramStudy English up to 36 lessons per week with experienced, qualified instructors at one of our year-round campuses across the United States. FLS offers 18 levels of study, from low beginner to high advanced. New terms begin every four weeks or a student can start ANY Monday. All levels develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, structure and intonation skills. Students also have the opportunity to take part in numerous optional activities and excursions.

Terms of Enrollment

There is a non-refundable $150 application fee for all programs.

• Students must apply at least two weeks prior to the program’s scheduled start date.

• Students should check-in on Sunday and check-out on Saturday.

• Extra nights of stay can be added for $75 dormitory and $55 homestay.

• Proof or purchase of health insurance required. Health insurance is available through FLS for an additional fee of $35 per week.

• Unaccompanied Minor service available for $100 fee.

* Students may add extra weeks of General English at these campuses for an additional fee.
