Formulate your Hypothesis

I think Orville Redenbacher will pop better than Generic.

Identify and Control the Variables Variables=

popcorn Control=same size bag, same time they popped for is 1:50 seconds

Test your Hypothesis

First we popped the Orville Redenbacher for 1:50 seconds and the Generic for 1:50 seconds also. Next, we took it out of the microwave. Last, we counted the kernels in both bags.

Collect your Data

We added the Generic and got 371. For Orville Redenbacher we got 233.

Interpret your Data

Generic had 371 pieces and for Orville Redenbacher it was 243 pieces of popcorn.

State your Conclusion

I was wrong because Generic has more popcorn in it than Orville Redenbacher.
