Easter Week is just around the corner, and cities all over the United States are preparing to welcome millions of visitors from all parts of the world, especially Mexico, since most tourists to the U.S. come from here.
We are living through difficult times, and many Mexican travelers are unsure whether or not they should travel to the U.S. It is ultimately a personal decision, but be aware of existing variables and factors, and realize how strong tourism has historically been between both countries.
A large number of Mexicans in the United States depend on tourism. Tens of thousands of people working in hotels, travel agencies and airlines come from Mexico and Spanish-speaking countries. There are agencies on both sides of the border that specialize in cross-border tourism. This means that for every trip from Mexico to the United States, our people (here and there) depend on it.
In Easter Week, the U.S. offers experiences that no other place can, from skiing in the Rockies to sunbathing in the beaches of Florida. You can take a road trip through New Mexico or indulge in the most eccentric and luxurious activities in New York City. There are different travel and destination options for all tastes and budgets.
In this issue, we bring you different ways to spend the Easter Week Holidays in the U.S. The US Traveler team, and the Global Com Group in general, are convinced that travel makes the world better, bringing people closer regardless of borders and laws that seem to want to keep us apart.

Se acerca la Semana Santa y las ciudades en la Unión Americana se preparan para recibir a millones de visitantes de todas partes del
mundo, particularmente de México siendo el país que más ciudadanos emite a los Estados Unidos anualmente, por encima de cualquier otra nación.
Vivimos tiempos complejos, hay una gran duda en los mexicanos con relación a si viajar o no a los Estados Unidos. Ello es una decisión muy personal, pero vale la pena tomar en cuenta las variables que existen y, sobre todo, lo que detrás del turismo hay entre ambos países.
Muchos mexicanos dependen en los Esta-dos Unidos del turismo, sobre todo del que va de México. Son decenas de miles de empleos en hoteles, agencias de viajes, aerolíneas que
están en manos de mexicanos e hispanos en general. También hay

y aquel lado de la frontera cuyos dueños son mexicanos y se dedican al turismo entre ambos países. En síntesis, detrás de cada viaje desde México a los Estados Unidos, hay paisanos aquí y allá que dependen de ello.
Durante la Semana Santa, los Estados Unidos ofre-cen una variedad de experiencias que pocos países en el mundo tienen: desde esquiar en las montañas Roca-llosas hasta asolearse en las playas de Florida. Hacer un viaje carretero por Nuevo México o dejarse llevar por las actividades más excéntricas y lujosas en Nueva York. Hay diferentes viajes y destinos para todos los gustos y presupuestos.
En esta edición, compartimos varias opciones de experiencias en Semana Santa. En US Traveler y en general en Global Com Group, tenemos la convicción de que los viajes ensanchan al mundo, más allá de las fronteras, muros o legislaciones que pretenden hacerlo cada vez más angosto.

BEAUTY HIGH ABOVE IN THE GRAND CANYONGet swept away by the majestic mountains in Colorado. In addition to the worldfamous Grand Canyon, there are endless enigmatic places that will enthrall nature lovers. Sand Dunes National Park is a good place to start, as it has some of the tallest dunes in North America.
Pikes Peak, which rises more than 12,000 feet, is one of the most amazing summits in the country, and here you can also visit the majestic Garden of the Gods rock formation.
No matter what time of the year you visit, these gigantic mountains are always a spectacular sight to behold, and there are many things to do, from chilled and relaxing to thrilling and adventurous.
In the lower part of Little Cottonwood Canyon, a serene lake welcomes visitors for a boat ride, while thrillseekers can go rafting in Glenwood Canyon.

COSTA DORADA DE MALIBÚCon una extensión de 51 kilómetros de largo, Ma-libú es el tesoro natural al que acuden las estrellas de Hollywood, pero principalmente los amantes del surf. Calificadas como las olas más perfectas del mundo, la playa Surfrider Beach de Malibú tiene el título de primera reserva de surf del planeta; mientras que Zuma Beach es ideal para quienes gustan de la tranquilidad, el sol y las increíbles puestas de sol.
La variedad de comida del mar es vasta, aunque también es posible pescar en alguna zona especial a lo largo del muelle, desde donde ver las actividades de los surfistas más experimentados es un gran espectáculo.

Luego de disfrutar las encantadoras playas de este rincón californiano, Malibú cuenta con dos reconoci-dos sitios para las compras. El Malibu Country Mart y el Malibu LumberYard, son almacenes donde además de poder adquirir artículos de moda, al más puro estilo playero, también es posible encontrar a alguna que otra celebridad.
El escenario costero de Malibú se complementa con las maravillosas vistas tierra adentro, que para esta época estarán cubiertas de flores silvestres, por lo que conviene adentrarse por los senderos para disfrutar de las colinas y cañones de la región, hasta llegar al Área de Recreación Nacional Sierra de Santa Mónica, donde además hay cascadas.
PASADENA, URBE DE ENCANTOSin tener el bullicio de una gran metrópoli, pero sí los encantos de una ciudad que goza de todas las comodi-dades y grandes atracciones, Pasadena, California, es el destino para los amantes de los museos, la arquitectura y las festividades culturales. Se ubica a sólo 16 kilómetros al noreste del centro de Los Ángeles, y las vías de acce-so para llegar desde ahí son muy prácticas.
Aunque el invierno ya pasó, quizá sea posible ver la migración de las
últimas ballenas grises de la temporada, en Point Dume,
en la zona norte de la ciudad.

A lo largo del año, Pasadena tiene diversas actividades, dentro de la cuales destaca el tradicional Desfile de las Rosas. Para esta temporada, tres grandes eventos dan la bienvenida a la mejor estación.
Apreciar la arquitectura de Pasadena es toda una ex-periencia. Pues es el reflejo del estilo europeo, mimetizado con el entorno de California. La Miniatura de Frank Lloyd Wright es una de las joyas que vale la pena apreciar, también recorrer el Bungalow Heaven, un pequeño distrito con alrededor de 800 casas de artesanos que datan de 1900.
BELLEZA DE ALTURA EN EL GRAN CAÑÓNDejarse impresionar por la inmensidad de las montañas es parte de lo que ofrece el estado de Colorado. Ade-más de su Gran Cañón, este destino cuenta con un sinfín de lugares enigmáticos que sorprenderán al amante de la naturaleza. El Parque Nacional Great Sand Dunes es un buen inicio; aquí se concentran las dunas más altas de Norteamérica.
Uno de los picos más famosos se erige a más de cuatro mil metros de altura, Pikes Peak es una de las cumbres más asombrosas del país, desde donde también se puede visitar Garden of the Gods, una serie de majestuosas formaciones rocosas.
Sin importar la época del año, estas gigantescas montañas son un atractivo espectacular, en el que se pueden realizar un gran número de actividades, desde sencillas hasta complejas, para los más aventureros.
MALIBU’S GOLDEN COAST31 mile-long Malibu is very popular among Hollywood stars and surfers alike. Considered to have some of the best waves in the world, Surfrider Beach is the world’s first surf reserve, while Zuma Beach is ideal for those looking for a relaxing time bathing in the sun and enjoying the breathtaking sunsets.
The variety of seafood is incredible, although you can also go fishing somewhere along the dock, from where you can see the best surfers ride the waves.
After enjoying the delightful beaches in this corner of California, Malibu offers plenty of shopping options. At Malibu Country Mart and Malibu LumberYard you can buy the latest beach fashion, and you might even run into a celebrity or two.
Malibu’s coastal scenery is enhanced by the wonderful views further inland, where the landscape is full of wild flowers. You might want to venture into a hike of the local hills and canyons at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, where you’ll also find a few waterfalls.
PASADENA, CHARMING CITYFar from the vibe of bustling metropolis, this city still offers all kinds of attractions and variety. Pasadena, California is a great destination for those who like museums, architecture and cultural festivities. It is only 10 miles northeast of Downtown L.A., and it is very easy to get there.
Pasadena holds many events throughout the year, the most popular of which is the Rose Parade. Three grand events are set to welcome the most awaited season.
The architecture in Pasadena is worth a look. It is a reflection of European style blended with the Californian environment. Frank Lloyd Wright’s La Miniatura is a local jewel. You should also check out Bungalow Heaven, a small neighborhood with around 800 small craftsman homes built during the 1900s.

LA CAPITAL MUNDIAL DEL ENTRETENIMIENTO CONTINUAMENTE SE ACTUALIZA PARA BRINDAR LA MEJOR Y MÁS VARIADA OFERTA A SUS VISITANTES.
Aunque parece que ya lo tiene todo, en la ciudad de Las Vegas, Nevada, aún hay mucho campo que explorar, por lo que día a día se integran
a su variada lista de actividades nuevas y mejores atracciones para complacer todo tipo de gustos. Así lo platicó para US Traveler, Frenando Hurtado, gerente de Ventas Internacionales de Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, quien nos cuenta sólo un poco de lo mucho que integrará este importante destino turístico de los Estados Unidos, en los próximos meses.
ACCIÓN Y ADRENALINAEl deporte cobrará gran auge en esta ciudad, pues es parte importante del entretenimiento. La temporada de la NHL, la liga profesional de Hockey de los Estados Unidos, recibe a los Vegas Golden Knights, quienes jugarán en la recién inaugurada T-Mobile Arena. Este recinto, con capacidad para 20 mil asistentes, fue sede del Latin Grammy el año pasado.
Además se construirá un nuevo estadio, que sería la casa de los Raiders de la NFL. De concretarse la llegada del equipo, la capacidad del inmueble sería de 65 mil asistentes, de lo contrario estaría un poco más pequeño, pero es un hecho que habrá un nuevo escenario para competencias deportivas.
La mejor opción para recorrer los más recientes restaurantes y vivir nuevas experiencias gastronómicas es tomar
un tour gastronómico.

• Raiding the Rock Vault. La historia del famoso género musical llega al Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, a partir del 11 de marzo.

Fernando Hurtado, International Sales Manager at Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, spoke with US Traveler to talk about what this American destination has in store for the coming months. ACTION AND ADRENALINESports will take center stage, as they are an important crowd pleaser. The NHL Season will see the Vegas Golden Knights playing at the recently opened T-Mobile Arena. This venue, which has capacity for 20,000 people, hosted the Latin Grammys last year.
Also, a new stadium will be built to house the NFL’s Raid-ers. If the team moves to the city, the stadium will hold 65,000. Otherwise, it will be somewhat smaller, but it will definitely be a great sports arena. SAME EVENT, MORE DATESThe word ‘residence’ has taken on a whole new meaning for artists in Las Vegas, since performers are holding more and more shows every year. This makes it easier for visitors to plan their trip and go see their favorite artists. Ricky Martin kicks it off in April, and continues through June and September. Say goodbye to single-night tours which were impossible to plan for.
ASIAN FLAVORDining in Las Vegas has recently trended heavily towards Japa-nese food. The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas has two of the best restaurants: Momofoku, where Chefs David Chang and Michael Chen prepare and attractive menu with Japanese, Korean and American influences; while Zuma, by Chef Rainer Becker offers an authentic and original experience that brings out the ingredients of each of its recipes.
However, the best option is probably a foodie tour, offered by many agencies to stray away from the traditional food options and enjoy completely new culinary experiences.

No hay mejor experiencia en la vida que tomar tus cosas y hacer un viaje al terminar la pre-paratoria en vísperas de iniciar la universidad.
Posiblemente, fuiste a los Estados Unidos de pequeño con tu familia, si es así, la nación que encontrarás como adulto joven tiene un sabor completamente distinto. Si aún no has ido a la Unión Americana, éste es un excelente momento para que comiences a recorrer un país distinto en muchos sentidos.
El tema de la visa es importante, más no necesa-riamente un limitante. Si demuestras que vas en plan de turismo, que tú o tu familia tienen los medios para solventarlo y que no pretendes quedarte más tiempo del permiso que te otorguen, es muy poco probable que te rechacen la solicitud de visa. No es necesario que pagues asesorías o a empresas que prometen ayudarte con la presentación de tu solicitud, basta con ser honesto y presentar los documentos requeridos.

Ahora bien, ¿por dónde comenzar mi primer viaje a los Estados Unidos? Lo más recomendable es comprar un boleto aéreo redondo a la ciudad donde comenzarás y culminarás el viaje. Debes tener un boleto de regreso como requisito de entrada y es, por mucho, más económico volar de vuelta desde la misma ciudad de arribo que comprar un boleto multidestino. Las ciudades que más vuelos diarios tienen desde México suelen ser las que mejores tarifas ofrecen: Los Ángeles, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Nueva York y Miami.
Para vivir una experiencia real de la vida cotidiana, vale la pena que pienses en la plataforma Airbnb., De acuerdo a tu presupuesto, pudedes alquilar una habitación privada o compartida o, en caso de que viajes en grupo, una casa o departamento completo a precios muy accesibles, allí podrás cocinarte para ahorrar dinero, no requerirás de una tarjeta de crédito cada que te hospedes en algún hotel u hostal y podrás conocer a mucha gente de diferentes culturas, orígenes y formas de pensar.
También es muy recomendable que mezcles en tu recorrido las grandes ciudades con pequeños destinos en el campo, de este modo también podrás percibir la diferencia entre cómo vive el estadounidense urbano y el rural.
Para transportarte entre pueblos y ciudades, lo más cómodo y económico es el autobús. La empresa Greyhound y sus subsidiarias tienen cobertura en todo el país. También es muy recomendable viajar en tren, Amtrak, la empresa ferroviaria del estado tiene diversas opciones tarifarias y cabinas diferentes.

Ellos nos ofrecen en temporadas medias y bajas desde un buen des-cuento en el hotel o valores agregados en nuestros paquetes. Generalmente estas promociones aplican para una compra con 3 a 4 meses de anticipación.
En tercer lugar, revisen las diferentes alternativas de vuelos que cada destino ofrece. Aun cuando lo que más nos interesa en este tema es llegar a cada destino seguros y a tiempo, existen varias aerolí-neas de bajo costo que nos permiten ahorrar en ocasiones mucho dinero si viajamos con ellos. For this reason, many people have asked me about the ideal formula, so I want to share with you some tips to make sure that you get to enjoy as much quality time with your family and loved ones as possible.First, make sure you make reservations and book as early as possible. Boasting 130 rooms, the Betsy South Beach Hotel merges the existing Ocean Drive Hotel (cur-rently the Colonial Wing) with the historic Carlton Hotel on Collins Avenue (the Art Deco Wing).

EL AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL
De acuerdo al Programa de Renovación de Terminales (TRIP) cuyo objetivo es modernizar los inmuebles que albergan las termina-les originales del Aeropuerto Internacional Dallas Fort Worth DFW, se logró la remodelación de la terminal A, la cual ahora presenta mejores zonas de estacionamiento, ticketing y seguridad.
La terminal cuenta a la fecha con más espacios en las zonas de alimentos y compras, así como mejoras tecnológicas para hacer de los viajes a través de DFW una experiencia sencilla y agradable.
El edificio, construido hace 43 años, se ha convertido en un espacio acogedor e innovador para los clientes. El número de tiendas y restaurantes aumentó en 50% y los nuevos locales se ubican cerca de puestos de control y estaciones del Skylink.
Fueron renovadas en su totalidad 26 salas, así como dos áreas de reclamo de equipaje. Se ampliaron tres puntos de control de seguridad y se abrieron más quioscos de atención al cliente para agilizar y hacer más cómodo el check-in.
DFW International Airport undergoes renovations
Terminal A of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (TRIP) was successfully renovated to include better parking lots, ticketing areas and security, thanks to the DFW Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP).
The terminal currently offers travelers a simpler and more pleasant experience by offering more food and beverage options as well as improved technology.
The DFW Airport, built 43 years ago, has become an inviting , memorable and innovating place. Restaurant and store options increased by 50% and are conveniently located by control stations and Skylink stations.
A total of 26 gates were renovated, as well as 2 baggage claim areas. The program included expanding three security control checkpoints were expanded, as well as opening new customer service kiosks for quicker check-in lines.
