Expectations: Your notebook should always be Neat (no loose papers) In the classroom (unless I have told you to take it home) Keep up with your table of contents (it should be accurate) ANYTHING in your notebook can be taken for a grade Complete ALL work when its due Inside of your notebook: Scientific Method Glue your Scientific Method page on the inside of your journal. It should be glued near the top and folded over Front Page: Table of Contents Glue Table of contents page into the first part of your journal (cut to fit if needed) Make sure to update as you go (it should match the title on each page) Page number 1: All About Me! Title the top: All About Me Tape the top flap of a CD holder to the top of the page Decorate the page with things that describe you and place a picture inside the holder to show off a little about you! Page 2: Safety Title the page: Safety Bellwork should be at the top of the page Safety contract should be glued in underneath (I will give it back to you) Page 3: Scientific Method Title the page Scientific Method Bellwork: What are the steps to the Scientific Method Glue the top of the milk lab into the journal (under your bellwork answer) The lab will need to be folded- Make sure you can see the back! Front: Duct Tape Add a piece of Duct tape to the spine- this will help keep the spine strong Back of the notebook: Whiteboard Cut a piece of paper to fit your notebook Place it on the notebook and cover it with about 3-4 pieces of clear tape (Teacher will help you add them) Back of notebook: Rubber band close *You only get ONE! * Any horse play will = a detention Punch a hole about an inch into the back of the notebook. Thread the rubber band through and pull WHOOOO HOOO!!You made it! When you are finished: 1.) Make sure your Table of Contents matched your pages 2.) Decorate your All About ME page 3.) Number each page through the end of your notebook
