Dear Exhibitor,

Thank you for your participation in this year’s 2019 CMN International Trade Show. Our theme for this year is MOMENTUM 2019 and it is our hope that the event will serve as a catalyst to foster MOMENTUM for each member’s mission. The loss of our long-time spiritual director Father Andrew Apostoli, C.F.R. is still fresh on our minds but we can draw encouragement from his enthusiasm for our work as he regularly told me that he felt the CMN was providing a real benefit for our Catholic Church. He would always say that the mission of the CMN goes far beyond the facilitation for the buying and selling of religious products or services, as important as that work is. Father would point out that we are collaborators together in the daily ministry of building up the kingdom of God. Every member of the CMN, whether they are involved in operating a Catholic Book and Gift store or a supplier providing books and products for those outlets is playing a vital role in revitalizing the Church and evangelizing the culture. It is always our goal that the CMN and our annual event provide support and foster connectivity to each of your important ministries. This year we are doing everything we can to make MOMENTUM 2019 a spiritually and professionally rewarding experience for everyone and in this regard, we are offering something new this year!

All our exhibitors and attendees are invited to participate in our Business AS Ministry Seminar Day. Try to plan your booth set-up so that one person, or perhaps everyone, on your team, can attend one (or all) of the presentations by our nationally-recognized speakers. You won’t be disappointed!

Attached is our decorator kit detailing shipping and on-site services provided by our show decorator. We area again utilizing Reber-Friel who has been our decorator for over 15 years and is very familiar with our needs. I’m sure you will find them happy to answer any questions you may have.

Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square / Lancaster County Convention Center 3 East Vine Street Lancaster, PA 17602 Show Decorator: Reber-Friel Company – Contact: Maureen Wolf – 800-564-7040 Show Set Up: Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm Show Hours: Wednesday and Thursday, July 31 and August 1, 2019 from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm, Friday, August 2, 2019 from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm. * No sales are to occur from the show floor until selling down samples on Friday. Intent of show is to take orders for future fulfillment. Booth must be staffed with a representative during show hours. DO NOT DELAY! Hotel Room Reservations: A block of rooms has been designated as CMN Trade Show rooms. The discounted price is $139 per night. Book your rooms at the Marriott at Penn Square to have easy access to the exhibition hall. CMN discounted rooms often sell out prior to the reservation deadline. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Check www.catholicmarketing.com Trade Show tab/Book Your Room button. PARKING: Hotel guests receive complimentary parking at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. Non-hotel guests can park for $7/day. The clearance of the parking garage is 6’8” and has tight turns. Vehicles taller or longer should park in surface lots. There is an oversized vehicle lot across the street from the hotel, The Swan Lot. The rate for this lot is $45 per night. There is a free oversized lot at the Courtyard Marriott, 3 miles from the Marriott at Penn Square. however, there is no shuttle service between the hotels. NO ADVANCE DELIVERIES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE HOTEL/CONVENTION CENTER! If anything arrives prior to July 30, 2019, it will be returned to sender. No exceptions! The Lancaster County Convention Center ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT accept any advance shipment for the CMN Trade Show. All advance shipments must be shipped directly to CMN drayage contractor, Reber-Friel Company. Shipments will be REFUSED at the Lancaster County Convention Center prior to the Installation date, Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Lancaster County Convention Center and Reber-Friel Company accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for any delay in delivering display materials if addressed improperly. Exhibitors who are not shipping their items ahead of time, but bringing their items with them, are free to do so. This is a non-union facility so exhibitors who need NO assistance in either unloading or loading of their materials and bringing those materials to their exhibition booth can do so between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019.

REBER-FRIEL EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES The attached decorator package goes into great detail concerning the show. Please read it carefully. Installation and Set-Up of Exhibits begins Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 8:00 am until 11:00 pm. All exhibits must be show ready by 8:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Reber-Friel Service Desk An Exhibitor’s Service Desk will be in the Exhibit Hall to service the needs of all exhibitors. Contact information for The Reber-Friel Company (800) 564 – 7040 Dismantle of exhibits is not to begin until final closing at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2019. All equipment must be completely removed, and display area must be vacated by 10:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2019. Display Furniture per 6’ x 10’ or 10’ x 10’ space each booth is furnished with the following:

• 1 - 6’ x 30” Table with Cover - Tables will have a white vinyl top with blue floor-length skirting

• 2 Standard Folding Chairs • 1 Wastebasket • 1 Exhibitor Head Sign

No substitutions are allowed. Additional display tables, pleated coverings and other furniture items may be rented at the rates shown on the Furniture Order Form. If additional or alternative furniture or equipment is needed, please contact Reber-Friel Company by July 16, 2019 for discounted rental rates. Uniform Booth Background consisting of blue and white curtain 8’ high backwall and 3’ high side dividers on aluminum frames will be supplied along with a two-line uniform head sign containing Company Name and Booth Number. Display Prices and Discounts To qualify for discount prices, full payment (credit card or check) must be included with orders. Orders received after deadline date, without payment, or placed at show-site, will be charged at Standard Rates.

Payment & Charge Authorization Please complete the attached form and forward with your order. Payments not sent in advance will be collected at the show site. For your convenience, by including your American Express, MasterCard, and Visa numbers Reber-Friel Company can charge any balance due to the account provided. Damage - Exhibitors are responsible for all damage to the building, floors or equipment caused by their participation. Special Signs - Should you desire a special sign, other than the one provided with your Booth Space, please note this on the Reber-Friel Company Special Sign Order Form. Losses Insurance The Lancaster County Convention Center, Show Management and/or Reber-Friel Company will not be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind. It is suggested that Exhibitors contact their Insurance Brokers to determine the possibility or obtaining a rider to cover their shipments from the time they leave home premises until deliveries reaching their final destination. Arrangement of Exhibit The uniform booth background is not strong enough to support display materials from the cloth or frame. Do not pin or staple materials to the cloth. Special background will be needed for any display materials that exceed 25 pounds in total weight. Arrangements for this type of display should be made in advance and brought to the exhibit hall ready for assembly. Installations are subject to the approval of all inspection authorities having jurisdiction. Carpenter Labor Set-up and Dismantle Labor is available at an hourly rate with a one (1) hour minimum per man. For Labor to Set-up and/or Dismantle your Exhibit Booth, please indicate on the enclosed Carpenter Labor Order Form. Electrical Service & Telephone Service There are NO Electrical Outlets and/or Telephone Service provided with your booth. Electrical Outlets & Telephones can be ordered on the Service Forms provided by the Lancaster County Convention Center which are located on the back pages of this Decorator’s Kit. All orders and payments for these services need to be forwarded to the Lancaster County Convention Center itself. Any questions regarding these services, please call the Lancaster County Convention Center staff. High Speed Internet Access If Internet Access is needed on the exhibit floor, please contact the Lancaster County Convention Center. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in the lobby of the Marriott. Hotel guest attendees can access complimentary Wi-Fi in their guest room if they are Marriott Rewards members.

WAYS TO GET PRODUCT/EQUIPMENT TO/FROM THE SHOW:

• Bring your own product and booth items. You will be allowed to pull up to a load in area on set up day, Tuesday, July 30, 2019. You can unload and take your items to your booth yourself. You are responsible for storing your packing materials yourself. On teardown day, you will be responsible for packing your items, taking them to the loading dock yourself, and loading onto the appropriate means to ship/transport your items back. Reber-Friel will not touch your stuff at all. You will not incur a charge in this situation.

• Ship your booth items and display products to the Reber-Friel drayage warehouse.

Shipments received prior to July 23, 2019 will incur a charge of $88/cwt. (freight handling charge per hundred weight) minimum 200 lbs/shipment. If shipment is received after July 23, 2019, you will be assessed surcharge of $26/cwt plus regular fee of $88/cwt. In this situation, Reber-Friel will bring received items to the Lancaster County Convention Center on Tuesday, July 30 and deliver the shipment directly to your booth location. They will then store your packing materials during the show, and on teardown day, return the packing items to your booth. Upon being packed, they will take the items and ensure they are given to the appropriate shipping company that you have arranged for in advance.

• Ship or transport items directly to the Lancaster County Convention Center to be

received on move-in day, Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Shipments received on the loading dock by Reber-Friel will incur a charge of $88/cwt. (freight handling charge per hundred weight) minimum 200 lbs/shipment. Reber-Friel will bring received items directly to your booth location. They will then store your packing materials during the show, and on teardown day, return the packing items to your booth. Upon being packed, they will take the items and ensure they are given to the appropriate shipping company that you have arranged for in advance.

• MONEY SAVING TIP: As a CMN Corporate/Supplier Member, you have access to discounted aggregated shipping rates through Siriani Shipping Solutions. Contact them not only to get your products and equipment to and from the show using the most economical method, also have them look at your everyday shipping and freight. Many CMN Members say they save enough with this single member benefit to justify the annual dues!

I'd like to personally thank you for exhibiting at the 23rd Annual CMN International Trade Show. We’re very happy to have you with us and the CMN team is working hard to make this an enjoyable and successful event for your business/ministry. This packet outlines specific information regarding your exhibition space. Please refer to it for any questions you may have.

Our show decorator is Reber-Friel, the decorator we’ve used for over fifteen years. They are on a first name

basis with many of our exhibitors, and are committed to providing you the highest level of customer service and

professionalism. Following is a recap of the main points pertaining to the show.

1. Show Hours

Wednesday July 31, 2019 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday August 1, 2019 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday August 2, 2019 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

A representative of each Exhibit is required to be in attendance during Exhibit Hours.

2. Deliveries No advance deliveries will be accepted at Show Site. Display materials not sent

to the Advanced Warehouse, Reber-Friel in advance can be delivered directly to the Exhibit Area

beginning Tuesday, July 30th

, 2019 starting at 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Reber-Friel Company will accept

crated or boxed materials in advance of Show Set-Up at the Reber-Friel Company warehouse. Please

refer to the Shipping Information in our Service Order Forms.

Exhibitors who are not shipping their items ahead of time, but bringing their items with them,

are free to do so. This is a non-union facility so exhibitors who need NO assistance in either unloading

or loading of their materials and bringing those materials to their exhibition booth can do so between

the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30th

Important Notice

The Lancaster County Convention Center ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT accept any advance shipments for this

Trade Show at its facility. All advance shipments must be directly to our drayage contractor, Reber-Friel

Company, whether it is shipped by UPS, Air or other Common Carriers. Shipments will be REFUSED at the

Lancaster County Convention Center, prior to the Installation Date, Tuesday, July 30, 2019. The Lancaster

County Convention Center and Reber-Friel Company accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for any delay in

delivering display material if addressed improperly.

3. Installation and Set-up of Exhibits begins Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM. All

Exhibits must be Show Ready by 8:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

ADVANCED INBOUND SHIPMENTS (WAREHOUSE) Please send all shipments PREPAID. Reber-Friel Company will receive and store merchandise up to 30 days prior to show until five days before show opens. Shipments received after the deadline date (see upper right corner) will be charged the advanced rate and the surcharge; shipments received after five days before show opens may be assessed additional charges. LIMITATIONS OF REBER-FRIEL'S LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

a. Reber-Friel shall not be responsible for damage to uncrated materials; materials improperly packed or concealed damage.

b. Reber-Friel shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or disappearance of Exhibitor's material after same have been delivered to Exhibitor's booth

c. Reber-Friel shall not be responsible for loss, theft, disappearance of materials before they are picked up from Exhibitor's booth for re-loading

after the Show. Bills of lading covering outgoing shipments, which are furnished to Reber-Friel by Exhibitors, will be checked at time of actual pick-up from booth and corrections made where discrepancies occur.

d. Reber-Friel shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or delay due to fire, Acts of God, strikes, lockouts or work stoppages of any kind, or

to causes beyond its control.

e. Reber-Friel's liability shall be limited to the physical loss or damage to the specific article which is lost or damaged, and in any event Reber-Friel's maximum liability shall be limited to $ 0.30 per pound per article with a maximum liability of $ 50.00 per item and $ 1,000.00 per shipment

f. Reber-Friel shall not be liable to any extent whatsoever for any actual, potential, or assumed loss of profits or revenues, or for any collateral

costs, which may result from any loss or damage to an Exhibitors' materials which may make it impossible or impractical to exhibit same.

g. The consignment or delivery of a shipment to Reber-Friel by an Exhibitor, or by any shipper to or on behalf of the Exhibitor, shall be construed as an acceptance by such Exhibitor (and/or other shipper) of the terms and conditions set forth in the Bulletin.

ORDER FOR DRAYAGE SERVICES

We hereby authorize Reber-Friel Company to handle our shipment(s) in accordance with the information set forth in the "Shipping Information" section of this form, and we further agree to the following:

a. We accept the responsibility for the payment of Reber-Friel's charges in connection with the handling of our shipments as set forth and we guarantee payment to Reber-Friel in the event that any third party who acts in our behalf shall fail to pay such charges within 60 days after the close of the Show.

b. We agree to the "Limitations of Reber-Friel's Liability and Responsibility"

c. We agree that Reber-Friel's liability shall be limited to any loss or damage which results solely from Reber-Friel's negligence in the actual

physical handling of the items comprising our shipment(s), and not for any other type of loss or damage.

d. With particular reference to Liability & Responsibility, we agree, in connection with the receipt, handling, storage, and re-loading of our materials at the convention site (as distinct from Reber-Friel's warehouse), that Reber-Friel will provide its service as our agent, and not as bailee or shipper. If any employee of Reber-Friel shall sign a delivery receipt, bill of lading, or other documents, we agree that Reber-Friel will do so as our agent, and we accept the responsibility therefore.

(1) Relative to outgoing shipments after the Show, we recognize that there will be a lapse of time between the completion of packing

and the actual pickup of our materials from our booth for loading into a carrier, and that during such time our shipment will be left unattended in our booth. We agree that Reber-Friel shall not be responsible for any loss or damage during such period, and we authorize Reber-Friel to adjust the quantities of items on any bill of lading left by us with Reber-Friel to conform to the actual count of such items in the booth at the time of pickup.

e. We agree, in the event of a dispute with Reber-Friel relative to any loss or damage to any of our materials or equipment, that we will not

withhold payment of any amount due to Reber-Friel for drayage or any other services provided by Reber-Friel as an offset against the amount of the alleged loss or damage. Instead, we agree to pay Reber-Friel within 30 days from the close of the Show for all such charges, and we further agree that any claim we may have against Reber-Friel shall be pursued independently by us as a completely separate transaction to be resolved on its own merits.

SET-UP & DISMANTLE LABOR ORDER FORM

In the interest of prompt and efficient processing of Exhibitor’s labor requirements for set-up and dismantling of exhibits, it is urged that advance notice be provided on this form. Orders received at the show will be processed after advance orders in all cases. Orders placed AFTER the Deadline Date are subject to a twenty percent (20%) surcharge.

Carpenters are assigned to orders at 8:00 a.m. daily and completion time of first assignments is uncertain. Therefore, starting times after 8:00 a.m. cannot be guaranteed, although we will make every attempt to provide labor at requested times.

Cancellation of requested labor needs to be in writing, at least 24 hour in advance. Failure to cancel labor or to call for labor at requested time will result in a one-hour charge per requested carpenter.

Lancaster County Convention Center INFORMATION

Load in & Load Out Procedure Exhibitor Guidelines

The Convention Center has a loading area for vendor vehicles on the loading dock. This space is reserved to allow safe access for exhibitors to transport materials to and from exhibit areas. The Load-In date is Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 8 am until 9 pm. The Load-Out date is Friday, August 2, 2019 from 1 pm until 7 pm. Access to the Exhibit area or loading area will not be granted outside of these arranged times.

Exhibitor Vehicle Access during Load In/Out Must use loading dock access from Vine Street entrance at the Lancaster County Convention Center only. There are no loading privileges at any other entrances.

Exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own cart, dolly or other item that could assist with transport of their items. After their items have been removed from their vehicle and placed either in the loading dock area or the vicinity of their booth, they must return to their vehicle and move it to the authorized parking area for vendors. Vehicles are to be removed from the loading dock before exhibitors spend time “arranging” or “setting up” their booth. Vehicles may not be left in the loading dock area for any reason except for loading and unloading. The loading dock interior and exterior doors will not open until the time posted for Load-In and Load-Out.

• The Convention Center has a limited number of flatbed carts available on a first come, first serve basis.

Carts are checked out at the loading dock. Please return the cart when finished. We encourage you to bring your own cart to expedite the load in process.

• Parking is available in the surrounding parking garages of Lancaster City. Parking in the loading area is prohibited. Marriott Hotel guests can park in the Marriott parking garage at no charge. If staying at a different hotel, CMN has arranged for a discounted parking rate of $7 per day for show attendees who are not Marriott guests.

• Children under 16 are NOT permitted on the loading docks during Load In / Out.

• Balloons: The use of lighter than air (Helium) balloons is prohibited.

• Trucks with Trailers, Tractor Trailers and Container Trucks - Trucks, Trailers and Containers may be parked at Loading docks 1, 2 and 3 for loading and unloading purposes only and must be moved as soon as emptied. They may not remain on the loading dock for the duration of the show. Under no circumstances may trucks or trailers be left on the loading docks overnight. Once the truck is unloaded and before any equipment is set up, the truck must be moved. There is an oversized vehicle lot across the street from the hotel. The rate for this lot is $45 per night. There is also a free oversized lot at the Courtyard Marriott which is 3 miles from the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. There is no shuttle service between the hotels.

• The Lancaster County Convention Center is a smoke and tobacco free environment. Please do not smoke in the facility. Smoking is only permitted 10 feet from any entrance.

• Firearms are strictly prohibited on the Lancaster County Convention Center and Lancaster Marriott Property.

• Animals other than Guide or Service Animals, are allowed in the Lancaster County Convention Center only for Exhibits and / or Entertainment. All Animals for those purposes must be approved by management and a proper permit must be obtained. All sanitary needs for animals will be the sole responsibility of the client.

• Outside food and beverage is not permitted in the facility without written consent from appropriate

• Security - The Lancaster County Convention Center will not assume responsibility for any damage or loss of any property, merchandise or articles brought to the event. Arrangements may be made through the Convention Center Event Manager for Security of exhibits, merchandise and/ or audiovisual equipment.

• Fire Safety and Decorations – All fire, safety and Convention Center regulations must be strictly followed. No propane, acetylene, explosive materials or other flammable items are allowed. Drapery and booth decorations cannot block or cover the Fire Extinguishers, AED boxes or the Fire Alarm Strobes. - Pyrotechnics either indoors or outdoors, are not permitted - Water, chemical or dry ice fog/ haze are not permitted inside the Hotel or Convention Center without prior written permission from the Security Manager. Request must be submitted 30 days prior to the first day of the Event. Fog/ haze machines will require a fire watch service. Please note this is not a complimentary service, charges will be discussed prior to the event, varying with time, duration and size. - A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is required for any chemical unitized by Vendors, General Contractor, Show Manager, Production or AV Company.
