Exercises – Mobility and stretches upper body (torso) These exercises can be used to increase flexibility in the lower back and body area.
Wall angels Stand with back to the wall. Try to keep back flat against the wall by keeping the abdomen tight. Raise both hands above the head then lower bending both elbows to 80° with hands facing outwards at the side of the head. With the forearms flat against the wall slowly tighten behind the shoulder blades and draw the hands down towards the waist, then, elevate the arms upward in a slow smooth action. Keep the neck relaxed throughout, and breathe in while performing each movement and holding for 7-‐8 seconds.
