The Executive Diploma in International Trade Programmes was designed by 3T Impex Trade Academy in collaboration with the America Institute of Extended Studies as a professional qualification to recognize competence for international trade and finance practitioners. It will enable

the students to demonstrate practical knowledge and understanding of complex issues relating to international trade products. It is ideal for people who are new to export, as well as experienced export companies because it will provide successful experts with a thorough grounding in the key areas of foreign trade.

The basic objective of this course is to provide to the African nations with a steady stream of competent men and women with the necessary knowledge, skills and foundations for acquiring a wide range of rewarding careers into the rapidly expanding world of Import & Export Management. It is designed to provide all the knowledge, tools and techniques necessary to manage all the technical aspects related to foreign trade

Retaking Failed Course




There will be end of module test and this shall form 30% of the overall score of each candidate at the end of the programme. There will also be an end of course assessment which will comprise of multiple choice questions and theory.This shall constitute 70% of the overall score of each candidate at the end of the programme.

The grading of the candidate scores at the end the programme shall be as follows:

Distinction – 70% and above Credit – 60% - 69%Pass – 50% - 59%Fail – Below 50%

Students who fail the examination will be allowed do a retake the examination for the course in which he hasfailed. A retake fee (which will be 10% of the tuition for the programme per course) shall apply. Students shallnot be allowed to retake any failed course more than twice. If the student fails a course thrice, he shall bedisqualified from continuing the programme.

The duration of each of the training programme shall be for a minimum of 90 hours (this majorly comprises ofclass room lectures and interaction with the facilitators). Based on the number of days required to complete these courses, the availability and convenience of the targeted students, the courses are going to run only on Saturdays in two streams. They are are stated below:

Executive Diploma In Export Business Management: 4 hours every Saturday (9am to 1pm) for six months

Executive Diploma In Export Trade Finance: 4 hours every Saturday (2pm to 6pm) for six months

4. Q - What is the difference between EBM & ETF? A - EBM covers how to start and develop export business while ETF covers how to structure and secure e xport business financing 5. Q - What are fees payable for the programme? A - The fees are Application fee which is N10,000 and Tuition fee which is $1,050 per applicant
