APPLICATION EXAMPLE
2
Machines for mixing and stirring often use induction motors. The speed is primarily determined by the number of pole pairs and the gear reduction used.
Application: Blending or mixing solid and liquid solutions
During the mixing process, the viscosity can change. This changes the load moment and consequently the speed. This can lead to an uneven consistency that includes lumps, marbling, or air inclusions.

APPLICATION EXAMPLE
SolutionA brushless DC motor with high speed stability minimizes the effect of load fluctuations. Stirring at a constant speed is guaranteed.
By using brushless DC motors from the BMU, BLE2 or BLH series, it is possible to mix at a pre-set speed and constant speed. A wide speed range is available.
Application: Blending or mixing solid and liquid solutions

Excellent Performance with Brushless DC Motors
BLH SeriesThe combination of brushless DC motor and 24 VDC driver offers high torque and a low noise level. Analog versions, digital versions and versions with RS-485 interface are available.
• High torque at high speeds• Speed range 80 to 3000 r/min*
• Decelerate stop according to the set deceleration time*
• Quieter: 13 dB quieter than previous models
• Set operation data from your computer *
• Monitor operating status in real time*
• Torque limiting*
• 8 speed settings (Conventional product: 2 speed settings)*
Increased Performance with new Drivers
Increased Torque (30 W, 50 W)
Max. instantaneous torque:1.5 x T the rated torque
The expanded limited duty region makes it possible to accelerate loads faster, facilitating a shorter cycle time. In addition, higher torque than before is available in the upper speed range.
Speed range:100 to 3000 r/min (Analog setting) 80 to 3000 r/min (Digital setting, RS-485 Communication Type)
Delayed Stop
The versions with digital setting or RS-485 interface have a braking function, and actively decelerate the motor in a pre-set time period if the delayed stop input is selected. This enables shorter cycle times compared to conventional drivers, in which the motor stops passively.

FEATURED PRODUCTS
Driver Variants of the BLH Series
Analog version Digital version RS-485 Communication Type
Analog (output power 15 W / 30 W / 50 W / 100 W) The speed can either be specified via the internal potentiometer, an external potentiometer, or an analog voltage. Start / stop is triggered via digital inputs.
Digital (output power 15 W / 30 W / 50 W) In addition to the specifications of the analog version, the speed can be controlled with a PWM signal. The digital version also provides the option of specifying pre-set speeds. The MEXE02 data setting software is used for this.
RS-485 Communication Type (output power 15 W / 30 W / 50 W) In addition to the specifications of the digital version, these drivers have an RS-485 interface for Modbus RTU communi-cation. All parameters and motion block data are programmed via this interface. The move commands can be specified via digital inputs or RS-485.
