Connect one end of the Ethernet cableto any Yellow Ethernet port on therouter and the other end to your computer.The “internet” light on the front of yourrouter should be solid green.

You will receive an e-mail whenservice is ready for self-installation.Or, you can check the status atverizon.com/whatsnext.

To start, disconnect your previousinternet service and equipment—including all cables from the walland your computer.

Install phone-line filters inall in-use phone jacks, exceptthe one used by the router.

Connect wall-mount filters to allwall phones. Include corded andcordless phones, answeringand fax machines and emergencymedical devices.

Connect your router to yourphone line in one of twoways: Directly into the walljack or in combinationwith a phone—using the 2-for-1adapter—as shown.

Plug the router into thepower outlet. Turn onthe router using the on/offbutton on the back.

Wireless

Find the label on your router thatdisplays your preset codes as shown.

Turn on any wireless device—including printers—you’dlike to connect and launch thewireless application.

Find and select your NetworkName. When prompted,enter your Key/Password.Be sure to enter it exactly as itappears on your router’slabel—all caps, no spaces.Select “Connect.”

Account activation

Go to activatemyhsi.verizon.netto activate your account andaccept the Terms of Service.

Download the softwarefor any additional productsyou purchased.

Optimize line performance byleaving the router on for at least30 days after you activate it.

Manage account online

Go to myverizon.com.My Verizon gives you accessto all your Verizon accounts,all in one place. View and manageyour bills, make changesto your accounts and more.

Confirm that you havereceived an e-mail statingthat your service isready to be installed.

Have you installed filterson all equipment pluggedinto a phone jack—except the router?

Make sure you do nothave a filter between yourphone jack and router.

If your kit came with therouter pictured here,you can set it up on its sideto save space. Take thestand base and line up thetabs as shown, makingsure the arrow on topis facing towards the frontof the router.

Snap the router into placeand you’re good to go.
