W PORKING RINCIPLE

Everest Twin Lobe Rotary Compressors/Blowers are positive displacement units,whose pumping capacity is determined by size, operating speed and pressureconditions. It employs twoTwin Lobe impellers mounted on parallel shafts, rotatingin opposite direction within a casing closed at the ends by side plates.As the impellersrotate, air is drawn into one side of the casing and forced out of the opposite sideagainst the existing pressures.The differential pressure developed, therefore, dependsupon the resistance of the connected system. The Blowers, being positivedisplacement type, do not develop pressure within the casing but the dischargepressure depends upon the system resistance / back pressure. Effective sealing of thecompressor inlet area from the discharge area is accomplished by use of very smalloperational clearance,eliminating the need of any internal lubrication of the lobes.Apair of accurately machined alloy steel, hardened and ground timing gears maintainclearances between the impellers,during rotation.The air,thus delivered,is 100% OILFREE. The pumping capacity of a lobe compressor, operating at constant speedremains relatively independent of inlet and discharge pressure variations. TheseBlowers are constant volume machines, which deliver a fixed discharge against thesystem back pressure. It is, therefore, essential to ensure that minimum pipelinerestrictions, at the inlet and discharge, are imposed.Adequate size piping and largeradius bends ensure minimum line losses resulting in higher efficiency and low powerconsumption. Sudden change in pipeline cross section should also be avoided.Tochange capacity, it is necessary either to change speed (energy saving) or vent some ofthe air into atmosphere (not energy saving).The air must not be recirculated from thedischarge to suction as it may result in overheating.No attempt should ever be madeto control the capacity of compressor by means of throttle valves in the intake ordischarge piping. This increases the power load on the motor and may seriouslydamage the compressor.There is an increase in the discharge air temperature due toheat of compression.As a thumb rule the discharge air temperature increases @ 10 Cfor every 0.1 Kg/cm of P above the inlet temperature.

EVEREST energy efficient blowers have all the bearings and gears oil splash lubricated.They have noncontact Labyrinth-Piston Ring seal combination,making them suitable for high speed and high pressureTwin-Lobe Blowers come in standard Air cooled construction and are capable of modification to Watercooled construction on site, making them a very versatile machine for full range of pressure upto 1kg/cm .In Indian hot weather conditions, it is recommended that Water cooled Blower construction should bepreferred for pressures beyond 0.7Kg/cm

lobe blower.This provides a stiffer rotor set,meaning less deflection at any load.Theseblowers have been designed keeping the specific demands of the industry ofcontinuous duty operation, sturdy design, reduced noise, reduced pulsations andvibrations, longer bearing life and minimal maintenance in mind.Everest Blowers areproduced on the latest state-of-art CNC machines from Haas (USA) and HMT(India), thereby ensuring a quality product. These blowers are designed forcontinuous duty service. Complete package units are shipped with all essentialaccessories and electric motor, ready to install,on plug and play concept.EverestTri-Lobe blowers are supplied with built-in safety & monitoring equipment such as safetyrelief valve and pressure gauge.

WORKING RINCIPLEP

Everest Tri-Lobe Rotary Compressors/Blowers are positive displacement units,whose pumping capacity is determined by size, operating speed and pressureconditions. It employs twoTri-Lobe impellers mounted on parallel shafts, rotating inopposite direction within a casing closed at the ends by side plates.As the impellersrotate, air is drawn into one side of the casing and forced out of the opposite sideagainst the existing pressures.The differential pressure developed, therefore, dependsupon the resistance of the connected system. The Blowers, being positivedisplacement type, do not develop pressure within the casing but the dischargepressure depends upon the system resistance/back pressure. Effective sealing of thecompressor inlet area from the discharge area is accomplished by use of very smalloperational clearance,eliminating the need of any internal lubrication of the lobes.Apair of accurately machined alloy steel, hardened and ground timing gears maintainclearances between the impellers,during rotation.The air,thus delivered,is 100% OILFREE. The pumping capacity of a lobe compressor, operating at constant speedremains relatively independent of inlet and discharge pressure variations. TheseBlowers are constant volume machines, which deliver a fixed discharge against thesystem back pressure. It is, therefore, essential to ensure that minimum pipelinerestrictions, at the inlet and discharge, are imposed.Adequate size piping and largeradius bends ensure minimum line losses resulting in higher efficiency and low power

Sudden change in pipeline cross section should also beavoided.To change capacity, it is necessary either to change speed (energysaving) or vent some of the air into atmosphere (not energy saving).The airmust not be re-circulated from the discharge to suction as it may result inoverheating. No attempt should ever be made to control the capacity ofcompressor by means of throttle valves in the intake or discharge piping.This increases the power load on the motor and may seriously damage thecompressor.There is an increase in the discharge air temperature due to heatof compression.As a thumb rule the discharge air temperature increases @10 C for every 0.1 Kg/cm of P above the inlet temperature.0 2

EVEREST Biogas Blowers | Compressors based on Positive DisplacementRotary Air Blower principle, have been specially developed for pumping ofBiogas.These are generally used in biogas lines to boost the gas pressure to

meet the burner input demand.These are generally vertical flow type in construction,i.e. suction top & discharge at bottom,so as to prevent any accumulation of corrosivematter inside the casing. Since they operate in closed loop, suction and dischargesilencers are generally not required.Special material of construction, lubrication andsealing arrangements make them ideal choice for Biogas boosting applications.Provision for a vacuum switch is provided at the inlet of the blower, so that incase thebiogas generation falls below the pumping speed of the blower, the blower trips andthis prevents vacuum overloading. Similarly provision for a pressure switch isprovided on the discharge line to safeguard the blower against excessive dischargepressures.

Special blowers, capable of handling different gases, are also available at Everest.Material of construction and constructional details vary to meet different gasrequirements.For inflammable and toxic gases, leak tightness is ensured.Basic designsare modified, depending upon the nature of gas to be handled and customers'requirements. Water jet injection cooling can also be provided to keep the gastemperatures low.

the workers from the noise.Even where silencers are used, they can only treat the airborne noise.The treatment of the mechanical noise from the blower, motor, etc. isbeyond the scope of silencers.Thus, in order to achieve low noise levels, that are oftenstatutory requirements,Noise Enclosures /Acoustic Hoods are required.

Enclosures are suitable for open installation and hence require no separate building

or shed.

The sound reduction enclosures are specially designed to reduce noise pollution to suit the local

environment.These are engineered to take care of air intake & outlet,resulting in a pleasing & attractive design.

The robust body work of sound reduction enclosures is due to its construction from preformed

heavy gauge sheet steel section and its reinforcement with fabricated superstructure.Rubber gaskets are provided

to all doors and external joints to resist weathering.The bolted superstructure provides easy removal of panels for

maintenance or servicing of blowers.

Sufficient cooling air inlet acoustic louvers and exhaust fans are provided in the enclosure for

efficient air circulation avoiding derating of the machine.

The sound reduction enclosures are preassembled on a support frame and can be easily & quickly

assembled at site.
