13 Industrial Visit at Blue Star

The industrial visit was organized at Blue

star ltd, Kala Amb on 23rd October 2018.

This event was organized by ISHRAE

club in collaboration with MBA

department. Around 40 students

accompanied the visit. It was very fruitful

for the students as they got the

opportunity to interact with intellectual

and experienced people from the industry.

Ltd. The Department of Management Studies has organized its second Industrial Visit at Bunge India Pvt. Ltd, Rajpura on 29th September, 2014, an ISO 9001 and HACCP certified company established in 1880 by J.P.J Bunge. During the two hour session, the students got an opportunity to interact with Mr. Vipin Mehta, Assistant Manager, HR, who gave the brief introduction about the company and the core values on which the company works.

Job Fair 2017

With an initiative to provide employment

opportunities to the students of

management and technical programs, the

Department of Management Studies

planned and successfully executed “Job

Fair 2017" on 3rd of March 2017. The

main objective of the fest was to serve as

a model of technology by innovative

teaching methods and to maximize the

student’s potential by expanding the

awareness of the educational career

opportunities. More than 975 students

were offered more than 150 vacancies


spread across more than 15 companies in

diverse portfolios.

17 Teachers day celebration 2019

Teacher's Day is dedicated to the

teachers and mentors who guide and train

the students to be better human beings. To

make this day more memorable the

students of MBA 1st and 2

nd year together

organized a get together for their teachers.

The party began with a cake cutting

ceremony by our respected Principal Sir,

HOD mam accompanied by all staff

members. Beautiful performances by

MBA students brought a wave of joy in

the atmosphere. In all, this party was a

combination of knowledge and

enjoyment, which helped in the

development of a positive relationship

between teachers and students.

The second year students organized a

fresher’s party “NOVATO FIESTA

2K19” for the freshers. The main purpose

of this party was to welcome newcomers

in a friendly environment to boost their

confidence.

Activities Students of MBA first and second year participated in management fest held at Baddi University on 29th march 2016 and got various awards. a team of three students, Sahil Bawa, Godobhaginder Singh and Puneet Kaur participated in the formulation of “Best business plan” and secured the first position in the same and got cash proze of Rs1500/-. The students also participated in various other activities such as Rangoli making, singing , Matka painting, etc. The bhangra team of boys of girls named Rajdeep singh, Simer singh, Nimrat kaur, Manmeet Kaur, Neha and Puneet kaur also got free bhangra sponsorship in a professional learning centre in Chandigarh for one year.
