Program Pathways Development Daniel DeMarte, Faculty Lead Pilot Program Leads & Implementation Team Description: The work of the Faculty Lead Pilot is helping to shape the implementation of Program Pathways. While the pilot has just started this spring semester 2017, significant progress has already been made. The program leads and implementation team will highlight achievements and progress thus far. Program leads, recently tasked with developing and/or refining program learning outcomes for the nine programs included in the pilot, will share examples of their work with you and provide a means for you to offer feedback. Participants will also be provided with samples of key terms that comprise Program Pathways (e.g., default curricula, critical courses). An understanding of these concepts is essential to the successful implementation of Program Pathways.

2:30-3:45pm

Transformational Advising: A Shared Responsibility Kevin McCarthy, Lynette Hauser & Tom Calogrides Description: Dr. Baehre-Kolovani established an Advising Task Force to recommend a new advising system and identify necessary organizational and policy changes needed for its implementation. Since January 2017, faculty, staff and administrators have been meeting to develop and recommend a transformational advising system where advising is a shared responsibility between Academic Affairs and Student Affairs. The Advising System must align with the college’s QEP and Guided Pathways. Come and get an updated on the task force’s progress.
