What kind of media institution might distribute your film and why?

My own production

My production company is called SPEEDLINE PRODUCTIONS, I chose this name because it creates the idea of a journey which is what happens

when a film is created. There’s the journey of production to distribution to exhibitors. Also the actual logo itself is a road disappearing into the

distance which is also another factor of a journey.

MiramaxI would want my film to be produced by Miramax because it is a leading worldwide film and television studio with a library of more than 700 motion pictures. Miramax sells directly and

licenses its titles globally through strategic partnerships including: Lionsgate, Netflix, Facebook, Hulu and StudioCanal. The Miramax library holds some of the world’s most original and acclaimed independent films including Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill volume 1 & 2. I have noticed that Quentin Tarantino has directed a lot of these films, this helped me decide

what film production I wanted to use because I also based my film on the directing style of Quentin Tarantino.

Collectively, the Miramax library has received 284 Academy Award nominations and 68 Oscars, including four Best Picture awards. Miramax is headquartered in Santa Monica, California with a

sales office in London, which would be easily accessed from Bristol- where filming took place.

Even though MIRAMAX is an American based company and create mob gangster films I still think it would be a suitable match because of technology has enhanced so much that it would be easy

to create a film from different locations in the world using web3.0.
