Evaluation & Reflection In order to evaluate and reflect on my instruction, I gave the learners a survey to complete after the conclusion of the staff development for Face to Face. The following is the link to the survey via Google Forms: Survey There were a total of five questions for the learners to answer where they were able to give rankings, give text explanations, etc. of how much they felt they learned from the staff development. I enjoyed reading the comments from the participants because this was my first time conducting a workshop like this I was nervous but their feedback made me feel much more confident in myself. Some of the comments are as follows: “I had never used the scale. This was useful information to practice each type of question.” “You seem very confident.” “The Google Forms. Evaluation & ReflectionIn order to evaluate and reflect on my instruction, I gave the learners a survey to complete after the conclusion of the staff development for Face to Face. The following is the link to the survey via Google Forms:Survey

There were a total of five questions for the learners to answer where they were able to give rankings, give text explanations, etc. of how much they felt they learned from the staff development. I enjoyed reading the comments from the participants because this was my first time conducting a workshop like this I was nervous but their feedback made me feel much more confident in myself. Some of the comments are as follows:

“I had never used the scale. This was useful information to practice each type of question.”

“You seem very confident.”

“The Google Forms. The Google Drive was very informative and would have been just as helpful if I had not already had some instruction in Drive; however, the information at this workshop just reminded me of some things that I needed to go back and do. **I did learn that, being that I have two different Drive accounts on my phone, I need to pay close attention to which Drive account I am logged in to when taking pictures. If I am logged into my school account, that's where the pictures I take are going. This was information that she didn't plan to "teach" at the workshop but it happened to come up and she solved and explained the problem to me. That was VERY helpful to me. Thanks!”

Nothing I learned how to create a Google form, how to create the various types of questions, how to choose a theme for the form, and how I can look at the responses in a spreadsheet to see a summary at a glance.

When I reflect on this staff development I conducted at Statesboro High School, I am proud of myself for the work I put in after the feedback I received verbally and electronically. 90% of the staff stated that they felt more confident about Google forms after the staff development with rating their confidence 1-10, 10 being the highest. The one thing that I would do differently would be to check the audio sound before the presentation several times because when I was playing a short video, the sound wasn’t as loud as I would have liked for it to be during the presentation. I felt like overall the staff enjoyed the staff development and they each learned something they did not know prior to the staff development.
